You can get a better picture, but you would pay twice the price. The TCL 6 series and the Hisense h8 are very similar. the h8 has a bit better picture, but a terrible interface. TCL is made in China - I wish there were other options, which I'd be willing to pay a bit more for if they were made in America

Bezel is thin and the unit itself is not heavy and can easily be mounted on a one stud mount. Could have spent twice the money and gotten a negligibly better unit. Roku functionality is intuitive and works great. Idiot proof interface. Why spend 2000 when you could spend 800 and get such a quality item?

Excellent tv almost 1 year later

I also downloaded an App that is IPQ that is made by TCL. This app allows you to take pictures of your tv and it makes adjustments to the tv to keep the picture at it’s finest. I have 3 TCL tv’s now, all because of the performance of this one.

Apps are snappy and responsive. Platform is solid for cord cutters and traditional cable tv users. Good picture with 1080 input and Great picture with 4K. Was considering an OLED but took a flier on the TCL based on reviews with intent to make it a bedroom TV if it didn’t perform.Performance to price ratio is high. Now looking for ways to spend my $s on feeding it 4K sources.

Ok picture and motion

Also, sound would drop out when streaming Netflix to my Vizio Atmos sound bar. Didn’t happen if I sent sound direct from the Xbox. Roku app Interface was was great though. I ended up returning it. Not happy enough with it for the money.

Nice tv

But it is worth the price. Don't expect QLED quality pictures but it is pretty clear and colorful. Roku is add on and it has most of the popular streaming apps. 3 hdmi at the back and option to project screen from your laptop is pretty helpful. Overall, nice tv.

Just when we thought TCL 6-Series couldnt possibly get better, they release the R625 model! And it is outstanding, with even better Local Dimming, and Wider Color Gamut, makes for a truly beautiful life like picture quality. This TCL TV is nothing short of ASTOUNDING!!!
