    Warning. Do not purchase this TV. At 6 months the HDMI panel failed. At 8 months 4 other boards failed. TV needs complete replacement. Almost one month later replacement scheduled to be delivered this weekend. Furthermore, TCL will not extend warranty on replacement TV. Warranty valid only from the date of the original TV. Do not buy TCL. Stay far away. Have owned three other flat panels that have lasted more than 10 years.

    Great picture for Regular tv and gaming. ANYTHING animated in the past few years, ITS HORRIBLE. TOO MANY MOTION ARTIFACTS. Returning.

    Crashes everyday

    Built in roku tv crashes everyday when opening Apps. Will happen at random. Whole TV takes about 5 minutes to restart. Sound will cut off from speakers using ARC. First and last TCL TV. You get what you paid for.

    Purchased 2 of these and both had broken screens. Poor box protection. Never got the chance to see the picture on this TV.

    Audio outputs make this TV garbage

    Don't buy this or any TCL TV if you're planning on using the audio outputs, i.e. a soundbar, AVR, or Stereo Reciever. The audio outputs do not output a full signal strength, it's less than half. I've tried the optical and HDMI. I even trimmed the input on my reciever by +6dB, it's max, and the TV signal is still much lower than any other source. It's horrible and I'm sorry I ever purchased this TV.

    I installed the TV and updated the software as requested at start up. And the TV is now stuck on start up screen and I have to send it back

    I bought the TV last November. It broke in March. I contacted the TCL customer service through email and was told it is not covered by the warranty even just only 4 months usage.

    Built in Roku Does Not Load Streaming TV Programs

    I am frequently having to restart my Roku/TV due to the Roku freezing up on me and refusing to load streaming tv programs. I have called both Best Buy and TCL and neither have been of any help in resolving my ongoing issue. I'd look at other devices instead of this TV/Roku combo.

    Broke completely after a few months

    After just a few months it stopped displaying a picture at all. Backlight, sound, inputs, etc… all appear to work, but just a blank black screen. The first time it happened a factory reset fixed it, but it happened again the next day and was no longer fixable.

    Great price if it worked

    Customer service was great between buying TV and returning it but TV had a crack in the bottom middle part of it when I got it home which I feel should have never been on the sales floor if it was actually tested before being put out. Very disappointed because this was a great price for the TV. It was open box

    Not a happy camper

    I would not recommend this TV. I purchased the TV six months ago. I am having problems with the TV it is locking up and shutting down. I spoke to the manufacturer and the best thing they could do for me was to send me a new remote. Not happy overall with the way this TV turned out.

    This TV was literally a complete waste of every penny spent on it. I could not be more dissatisfied. Imagine the worst product you've ever spent a sizable amount of $$ on and then rest assured that this TV and the TCL company are both much, much worse.

    This showed up broken. Best Buy was great at helping me to replace it with a Samsung which has been fantastic. I've since learned this particular breakage (the screen behind the screen) is common for TCL.

    Good tv poor best buy quality control

    This TV is great and wonderful. The one star is because it was purchased open box and they had not verified it's condition and it did not have the legs in the box or all the screws for mounting.

    I spent a couple of months reading reviews and articles on various aspects of what separates good quality televisions from the mediocre and finally settled upon the TCL 6 series as, to me it seemed to fill that sweet spot of "most bang for the buck." And after getting it home and setting it up (a simple undertaking thanks to the Roku operating system) I have to say that I'm more than pleased with my choice. Pleasantly surprised, I would say. It is one of the few products that has exceeded my expectations. With features such as Quantum Dots and Dolby Vision HDR that are ordinarily reserved for televisions costing twice as much, this set exudes quality. Colors are crisp and vivid and black levels approach Oled territory with very little blooming. The Roku interface is snappy, the voice search is very intuitive and I even like the live antenna channel guide. If you are looking for a television in this price range, you will absolutely not find anything as good as the TCL 6 series. Like anyone else, I work hard and won't throw money at something unless I've thoroughly researched the subject. I can confidently say I'm glad I decided on this TV.

    I'm sure it's a great TV, mine came broken had to return it and then it was on backorder and I couldn't even order it. Frustrating.
