So far this tv is working out well. The set up wasn't bad. If you have or used Chromecast with Google TV, it's the same. Only two downsides, first is there is one dead pixel on the screen, it is only noticable if you are standing within a couple of feet of it. Second, It kept disconnecting from my wifi, so I just plugged in an Ethernet cable in.

Great picture for the money but the operating system is a constant issue. It randomly decides to switch through the apps while in the middle of watching tv, that’s if it works at all. I am constantly having to unplug to reset the tv just to get it working

This tv is amazing value for the price. I highly recommend it but nowadays i would go for the 655 or the QM8 but you’ll be happy with this none the less

Just picked up this tv yesterday 9/10 and everything is great. Never had a problem with the apps crashing which I was worried about after reading the other reviews. Picture quality is amazing. I searched up 4k videos on YouTube to see just how great it can be and WOW. The contrast and details are phenomenal. I recently purchased a Samsung tv but had problems 3 different times I exchanged it for the same one, so I finally decided to change brands and spent a little more money than planned after reading reviews on many different tvs and I have 0 regrets. Well worth the money!!!

It's got all the features, and the picture looks great, but it's the glitchiest TV I've ever seen. It's like a computer that has to be rebooted everyday. Sometimes it freezes up, other times it will fail to pair with the soundbar. If you want the latest features at a low price, and don't mind getting up to tinker and restart the unit, it's not bad. If you want something that works like it's supposed to when you sit down, this isn't for you. It's great when it works, it just doesn't work often enough.

Absolutely love this TV, colors and contrast is amazing! The brightness is great, even on a bright day.

This is just a great TV at any price. Easy to set up, easy to use. Good quality picture. What else is there to say but quit reading these reviews and go pick up one for yourself!

Had a massive dent and smudge on the side of the tv frame that is very noticeable.

This is my first smart TV, so this might be an issue in my end of things. The UI is overly complicated at times, and some apps don't work as they're supposed to at all. Sound bar is recommended as well. To me those issues aren't anything major and overall it's a fantastic TV, especially for the price!

Well, so far so good. The TV is physically beautiful to look at. Almost no bezel with silver accents. I am amazed at the google interface. I thought I would not like it since on all of my TV's I bypass it anyway and use my firestick interface. But, I have to say it is very polished and I like that when I go into setting it looks a lot like my phone setting interface, The picture is amazing and the sound is very good. The TV guide combines all of my streaming services in one place (nice). Having said that it is a little buggy when switching to program that are on Sling and Hulu and even when I press the remote button for YouTube (go figure that one?) But overall I am still impressed and I hope they work the kinks out with the lag time when switching to other streaming channels. I highly recommend!

Excellent picture. Has a few bugs that can be slightly inconvenient with certain apps. An update fixed most. Best picture for the money No idea on sound, I use a sound bar

I've had the TV for 2 weeks now and it has been great. It upated the firmware during setup and I have none of the problems that have been mentioned when the TV first came out last year. The picture is wonderful with very bright and vibrant colors. The blacks are really good for a non Oled tv. Originally was looking at Oled, but for the Black Friday deal at 599.99 it can't be beat for value at more than a 1000.00 less than a same size Oled.

Cant beat it for the price. Im glad i got the Series 6. Got the google version on clearance for $300 less than the roku version

Upgraded from a U6H and there is a noticable increase in image quality. I would reccommend. TV looks sleek and it has two different foot mounting positions.

I, too, was on the fence about the Google TV OS. I read hundreds of reviews both on Google and Best Buy. In the end, I decided to pull the trigger for the $599 Black Friday deal. I'm happy to report that the OS concern was overblown. Yes, it's a little bit time-consuming to download the software update and set up Google TV for the first time. Yes, it's annoying that your TV is now tied to your google account. But Google TV actually has one of the cleanest and most intuitive UX of all TV OS. I say this as someone who was locked into the Amazon Fire TV ecosystem for the past 2 years. I feel completely liberated not getting Amazon Prime content pushed to me constantly and not knowing which tile is ads. The picture is amazing, but you already knew that. TL;DR - Great picture, great OS. It deserves a 5 star score.

Excellent TV for the price. You have to spend 2000 dollars for a Sony or Samsung tv to match the picture quality of this TV. Totally worth the price and features.

Great product, great TV. Had a few issues to start but TCL tech took acre of it and really like this for the price.

Phenomenal TV for the price. The only hiccup is Google TV. You just have to keep clearing cache and such, if you do that it will work as it is supposed to.
