It take a bit of tweeking with the settings but once you get everything set up... this thing is glorious the blacks are OLED level. Minimal blooking if your TV isnt incredible. Just send it back for a replacement because some times these things are just faulty. Im telling you this thing is incredible.

Background led bleed

Once you see these brighter spots, i couldn't unsee them so i had to give it back. The guys at the shop said that there appear to be quite a lot of returns due to bad quality controls with the display, so not impressed. Other than that the picture would have been great.

Fantastic tv

The brushed metal frame, paired with the fabric covered remote receiver on the bottom gives it a premium look. Last but not least, in my unprofessional opinion, I think miniLED looks just as good, if not better than OLED. The Google tv interface is SO much better than Roku. They must’ve gotten rid of most of the bugs.

Great TV...Sometimes...

The big one for me and where this falls apart is that it refuses to work correctly with my Vizio Elevate Atmos sound bar. Sometimes sound will output correctly, but most of the time, it doesn't. It will see my Elevate, an eARC device, as an eARC device, and the next day, it will see it as just an ARC device. Randomly, it won't power on the sound bar as it should, with CEC enabled. You have to click the volume buttons on the remote, then it will wake up the sound bar. Randomly, when I power off the TV, the sound bar stays on but acts like it's muted. Then you turn the TV back on, and it doesn't see the sound bar at all. I've tried disabling eARC and just running normal ARC and the problems continue. The problems are worse when it's "fast startup" mode is on, then it's a random lottery whether or not it recognizes the sound bar. Turning off fast startup, means you wait 30-40 seconds for the TV to turn on. But again, it's the luck of the draw, if it will work with my sound bar at all. I've factory reset the TV and sound bar, and both are updated...so if TCL drops in here talking about making sure the TV is updated, it is, and that answer is either a bot or a copy & paste response... If you own a Vizio elevate I would stay away, as it seems this combination doesn't like each other...I'm probably going to return it as I've submitted multiple support requests about the issue and haven't heard anything back...

TCL 65" 6 Series (Google) TV Review.

I get my reception from a TV Antenna and am about 65 miles N.W. of the Transmitting towers out of S.W. Houston. Never have had Cable, Dish, or Direct TV. The information as to what on the Antenna TV channel is currently slow to load. May need a update, not sure. Streaming is by WiFi and have had no problems. Have had TCL 65" 6 series (Google) for exactally one month. Curently on the feet, but plan to mount on the wall, where I took down my 65" Vizio.

Hard to use

Software is bad and hard to use. Cannot turn off internal speaker easily. Spending too much time googling and talking to TCL. Impossible to get TCL controller to controller Shieds and Firestick. I am not sure if it's a trick for TCL to discourage people to use other streaming divices. I will retun this although I like to picture quality.
