This tv is very nice. Not OLED level in blacks but a close replacement. Gets bright and has great clarity. With all of the updates TCL has given the TV it works great. Very Snappy. Does have a few hiccups here and there but what TV doesn't honestly. This is a good stop gap between buying a more expensive mini led or OLED. I still will be trying to purchase a more expensive mini LED or OLED in 2023 . But I will keep this TV for my bedroom. The only bad thing I can really say about it is it doesn't upscale particularly great and only two 2.1.

Best in class contrast and black levels, great color, excellent Google TV "smart app" system. I purchased this TV at Best Buy for $150 less than the same TV with the Roku smart app system. I consider the two "smart app" systems equivalent--except the Google TV system integrates better with my Google Pixel phone. I've purchased three "6-series" TCL sets. There is no better value if picture quality is very important. Sound quality is the same as any TV--mediocre. Get a real sound system.

Amazing TV. Picture quality and peak brightness is top of the line. This tv from a budget brand really rivals top of the lines like LG Samsung and more. Save yourself some money and get this.

I searched for a while on this purchase and value for the amount paid, this is a great tv. To be clear, I don't use the Google TV platform that is installed on the tv, I use an Apple TV. But I can note that the system is markedly better on a Chromecast with Google TV device than on this tv. The sound using the built in Google TV is a bit lower in grade. The only gripe I have is in regards to the motion pixelating that occurs around moving objects. Otherwise, the tv is awesome. Picture is tremendous, connectivity options are adequate. The brightness is incredible as well. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the performance.

This TV has some fantastic picture quality albeit it does take some tinkering to get it just right in some of the picture modes. Gaming features automatic low latency, 120hz refresh rate, and variable refresh rate are all here and accounted for. Also of importance is that the tv has two HDMI 2.1 ports for support of current-generation consoles PS5 and Xbox Series. The value for money and quality of picture warrant the 4 stars but as some other reviews have stated the software needs work. Accessing the settings sometimes knocks you back to home screen among other issues. I feel confident that it can be improved via updates but for now 4 stars.

The TV is great. Awesome picture quality and sound. However, the software bugs need to be fixed and cause a lot of usage issues. Especially HBO Max, it is super buggy and takes extremely long to respond. Using other apps after HBO Max also becomes difficult. Some other Google TV UI bugs are present. Hopefully things will get better after software updates. (Currently running the latest software with auto-update turned on)

Picture quality is great. No issues with OS. I've had the TV for nearly a year and just bought the 55" this week for my sons room for his Xbox series x.

This TV is really great, especially for the price. I have been very impressed by the picture and sound quality. Sometimes the menus are a little slow, but that is my only issue.

This is a really great TV. HDR and Dolby vision content is absolutely amazing. If you are a next gen console gamer this is a great choice. Gaming looks amazing on this TV.

Amazing value for money. QLED gives crisp 4K quality picture. Colors appear vibrant.

Great TV at a great price. Great service by Best Buy (free delivery) Have to say the picture in this far exceeds my expectations. We've had 4k LED tvs in the past, but not like this. I was really looking for a different brand on Black Friday, but it was out of stock pretty much everywhere. This was the closest thing in price and specs to what I was looking for and have to say, even though it was a little more price wise, I'm glad we ended up with this one.

I bought this TV for my Xbox. it looks really good and because it is 120hz it flows really good no motion blur. It looks good on the tv side also but I haven't used it much for that just the Xbox

The main reason that I bought this TV was the great reviews that I have seen on the quality of the picture based on the mini LED feature of this model. I am also a huge fan of Google TV over Roku and have been using a Chromecast with Google TV since it was released late in 2020. I used YouTube TV for my TV streaming services. All of these things were the reason that I was so excited when the TCL 65R646 was available and on sale at BestBuy. The implementation of Google TV on this model is not as good as the stand alone Chromecast w Google TV since it is not available to be controlled by Google Home or Google TV apps. The Google TV portion of the TCL TV is not actually "visible" until it is turned on. I can turn on my other Chromecast w Google TV enabled TVs from my Google Home Hub or from the Google TV App with the remote control function, which is very convenient. Not surprisingly the sound quality is not great, so I have my LG sound bar hooked up via an optical connection. The sound quality using Bluetooth is not good for some reason. The problem is that the internal TV speakers can not be turned off like most TVs given the common use external sound bars. I determined I could just adjust the sound to the lowest setting which is mute and I can achieve the muting of the internal speakers every time I turn on the TV. The biggest reason that I am going to return the TV, taking advantage of the extended return policy of Best Buy until 1/6/22, is the recurring issue of the TV freezing up, going dark and becoming unresponsive. I have spent way too much time on the phone with TCL support, which were quick to answer the calls, but did not really have a solution for my situation. I have been walked through resetting the TV to factory settings by TCL Support, which is quite painful and time consuming with all of the accounts that need to be re-established. I am sorry that this model does not seem to be stable at this point. I don't know if it is the TV hardware, the implementation of Google TV by TCL or the combination of both. My TVs with Chromecast with Google TV have been very stable. I guess I will keep looking for a stable Google TV.

Great tv with excellent quality, price and performance is very good.

Happy but not "blown away" with this TV. Though I am still tuning the TV, the picture is clearly better than my 5 year old Samsung. But based on the reviews, I expected something better.

Purchased the TCL class 6 in 2023. Excellent picture quality. I have a sound bar with subwoofer for sound.

Works great with my PlayStation 5. Games run very smooth thanks to this TV. Pro tip: don’t force the PlayStation 5 to do the variable refresh rate. I have experienced issues with vrr enabled games by doing this. Best to just let the ps5 be and let the default game mode do it’s thing. Also can’t believe people still don’t think TVs aren’t bright enough. This thing is BLINDING… on half!
