    Got this TV in January 2023 and it broke 3 times within that year... It will randomly shut off and sometimes is super slow and takes about 10 seconds to respond to the input of the remote... It just broke again and am hoping they will just give me a new different TV this time.

    The software leaves a lot to be desired. Have had the TV freeze up and require unplugging and plugging it back in maybe three times in the month I've had it. Have yet to find a solution for the issues it has connecting to my stereo system through ARC (it recognizes it, turns on the stereo, but no sound will come out the stereo). I really love the google tv interface, but I'm going to have to return this TV with so many problems.

    So…I bought this TV twice. I had to exchange the first one, because it wouldn’t power on at times. It would constantly freeze up on me. I thought I might of just got a defective TV until I got the 2nd one and the software is also real sluggish. The picture is good ,at times, if you turn off all TCL’s Auto features. I’ll end up returning this TV as well, but it’s really inconvenient having to take it on and off my wall and lugging it back to Bestbuy. I would really consider spending a little more to buy a more trusted brand TV.

    I researched a lot of similar models before deciding on this TCL. The picture quality is beautiful and the goggle app is better than amazon's or roku. The sound quality is decent as well. I decided not to splurge on a sound bar after all. There's some in depth reviews in YouTube that show you how to best calibrate this bad boy. Most people will be happy with the picture quality out of the box though.

    This TV had mixed performance results for me. Sometimes, it worked flawlessly and other times it would not work. Very flaky.

    1 year after purchase, I turned it on one morning and saw nothing but lines. TCL said that it’s not covered under warranty. Best But offered to send someone out (for $125.00) to tell me that it’s broken, which is clear. Before it broke, it was a brilliant tv.

    I've had this TV now for 3 months and am very happy with it. I'm not the power user to go into refresh rate or any of that, but the picture is very sharp and clear. My biggest concern before buying was the negative reviews of the Google TV UI, and that has been great. I don't find any lag time or slow processing as was reported. Seems to be a very good buy for the money.

    Right of the box, this TV has plenty of issues. Every app is slow and lags, including the home dashboard. Apps randomly close themselves, sometimes the screen will display intense pixelated images before displaying the content correctly. The TV is not connected to a power strip, and always hard wired to my modem. The TV often takes between 5-10 seconds before responding to me adjusting the volume. The volume sometimes displays for up to two minutes after adjusting the volume. The biggest hiccup is that when I attempt to use the TV, it will frequently blink on and display a dark blank screen for 1-2 seconds before the screen blinks completely off. The weird thing is that the TV isn’t off, it will still respond to the remote. The built in Google Voice will respond as well. The only way to resolve this issue is hard resetting the TV. This issue also randomly occurs when using the TV. It’s a shame because the picture quality and clarity are amazing. The Google TV option is great because it includes a lot more picture setting options as well. Honestly though, at this point I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this TV until the issues have been resolved. I bought the TV on 00/24/21. I waited a while to write a review because I hoped there’d be some sort of software update to resolve the issues but so far there hasn’t been. I’m in the middle of a back and forth email chain with TCL Suppport, and hope all goes well. I don’t want my money back, I just want a working 65” TCL Series 6 TV. I assume the TV wasn’t handled properly during the shipping process but who knows.

    Major software issues persist

    Decent TV, but major buggy software issues still with latest “update”. TV freezes quite a lot, with the only fix is a hard restart. Same thing with random WiFi disconnects, it’s not my router. Going into the the menu and hitting restart or pulling power fixes it. For a while. Pretty frustrating. If they could fix the software I’d be happy.
