Dark Spot

Not exposed to sun or anything. Have been very happy with previous TCLs that I've bought, but this one is frustrating. Probably won't get another and will pay up for the LG/Samsungs after this one.

Fix this crap software!

This thing randomly switches channels, the ARC is a bear to hookup and cuts out a lot, the TV randomly powers off, and the remote is very unresponsive!

Amazing

Google tv was easy to set up, and to use. Overall, one of the best viewing experiences Ive ever had with a tv. One downside is the overly warm color temperature on some of the setting, but not a hard fix at all.

Terrible software, nice picture

As others note, the picture quality is great, but the apps are still crashing even after multiple software upgrades. Almost impossible to enjoy when you have to restart constantly. It also has trouble linking to a Sonos sound at through eARC.

Not so good

The setup was easy and at first viewing the picture quality was great. However on the second day the system started locking up while changing channels or when the image changed (from a program to a commercial for example). Then the set would turn itself off intermittantly. Either occurance would require the set to be unplugged and a cold boot was needed to restore operation. TCL support was no help. Resetting the TV and a software update did not solve this issues. Returned it to Best Buy and got a different brand. Hopefully TCL will get the problems fixed. A good TV when it works.
