Really enjoying this TV.

I know a lot of people had issues with the Google OS performance but I’m not using the smart features on the TV since I prefer Apple TV so I haven’t had any issues. Delivery was on time and overall a great experience.

Great picture at first glance but..

It would also get this blocky outline around moving images, like is a person waa walking/running or a car going by they would have that effect outlining them. Terrible to watch sports on and messed with my eyes. I tried adjusting settings but there was no nothing that made it better. That was just from watching through the 4k cable box. I tried playing my xbox series S on it and had the same issues. When playing Halo Infinite the reticle would have the same blurry, ghosting/fading effect making it difficult to aim or focus on what I was looking at. When I returned the TCL the staff at Bestbuy were great. I ended up going with the LG OLED 65C1 series it costs a couple hundred more but wow what a difference. I would highly recommend paying a little more for a much better quality TV or at least stay clear of this model. I was told they have had several issues with this model of the TCL getting bad panels.

Amazing value and performance

I was able to pay $599 on Black Friday for this TV as a gift to my in-laws. It replaced a 12 year old flat screen so naturally this was a significant upgrade.

Decent for a good price, lacks many features

The image quality is ok for the price, but I am dissapointed in the lack of features other TVs have for not that higher price such as Apple Airplay and Miracast support. I'd go fo the Hisense U8H or Sony's X90K if you can afford the extra cash.

Best price-to-performance ratio out there!

My model (purchased 11/23) works flawlessly and looks great. On dated content (720p), the interpolation has a habit of cutting in and out, but I haven't noticed that at 2K or 4K content.

Very neat, and efficient and pleasant. A part was missing from the box - they went back to the store, got the part they needed, came back the same day and finished the installation.

The latest firmware update I received was V097 back in January. My verdict is to stay away from it. The only thing it does reliably is to agrivate me. The latest problem Im having is that Dolby audio is not being consistently passed through the ARC port to my soundbar, I have to keep restarting the TV to get Dolby surround sound back. How long has this TV been on the market? TCL dosent even have a GOOGLE TV users manual that describes how to adjust the settings or what they even do. Nice try TCL, next TV will be from a better known brand, Sony, Samsung, LG!!!

Tcl had sound issues

It has sound issues like even I set sound to 100 but it sound 10. Once I shutdown and on back it works fine. Support is also hectic to reach. Highly not recommend.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do you like to scorch ur retinas at 2am? Regardless of ur response, this TV is for you! For $600 you really can’t go wrong here. This unit has very VERY good light levels. I mean seriously I have to squint with it at full brightness during some scenes. The sound is very very solid for a tv system; it’s not going to knock ur socks off but it does its job very well. The colors are incredible, hdr works great, I use it for a computer monitor sometimes too! 4k 120hz is snappy and responsive. It should be but it is. I don’t understand how TCL did it but I have no buyers remorse (I normally do). Anyways buy the TV.

It is NOT capable of 4k at 120Hz. Modern game consoles do not interact with it correctly because it isn’t true 120Hz, just some jank

Average TV nothing special

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the TCL allows for the use of apple apps to be loaded, it has a "glitch" in that periodically there is not "power" for example, last night, I turned off the TV - this am, upon arising there was not power to the TV - I had to unplug the TV for 1 min. replug then it was able to turn back on -

Customer service is wonderful and they are working on the situation. The value is good for the price and I love the Google feature.
