    Dispay is fantastic. Very capable handling 120 fps of HDR content either from shows or gaming. Alexa integration is excellent. Viewing angles are good and makes it An awesome living room set. Unfortunately it is short of 2 stars for not having an updated software. Software Releases take a very long time. My unit doesn’t have the available update to be able to have disney+ installed. A shame since this TV will be fantastic to watch disney films. There is a manual update but there is a chance of bricking or losing the warranty. Hopefully TCL gets it sorted soon. There is also a bug where HDMI devices or other streaming apps looses audio after an update. This can be fixed by restarting the unit. Again it is software related and must be addressed by the manufacturer. Otherwise an almost perfect unit, atleast for me

    Recently bought a 65-inch Samsung 7 Series. Got it home and it honestly looked atrocious. So much jitter and blur. Decided to take it back and invest a little more into specs instead of the brand. Got this TCL and was immediately blown away by the difference. Looks really great. Huge sports fan, and I’m super happy with the movement and rich color. Super happy with my purchase.

    good picture, bright brights and dark darks, and loud if need be but have rebooted it 3 times and not used that much (bedroom tv).

    Don't buy it/Not ready for prime time

    I bought this TV based on all the great reviews on Cnet etc. to replace my wonderful Panasonic Plasma. Big mistake. Bigger mistake was not bringing it back during the return window. Against every instinct I had, I listened to TCL and gave them the benefit of the doubt to resolve their issues that they promised to fix. Here we are, 6 months later and numerous software updates and it has resolved some issues and created others. Now after the latest updates the TV freezes up like others have noted here and it causes issues with my receiver when the HDMI cable is hooked up. Cycling power to the TV is the only way to "unfreeze" the television. PITA! The LED pulses and when it does, the receiver cuts out. If the tv is on, it doesn't do it. If off, then it does. If I pull the HDMI out of the tv, it goes away. IT'S THE TV! It also turns the receiver on when HDMI out puts are enabled but not not set up to turn external components on and off. To play audio for a movie through the receiver, I have to go in and change a bunch of settings and turn them back afterwards so the stereo doesn't turn on anytime I just want to watch TV. Never mind explaining to my wife how to get a movie to play through the receiver when I'm not home. What a joke. This is on top of numerous issues along the way, these are just the latest. So I finally broke down and spoke to BEST BUY about this, seeing as this is their baby, a BEST BUY exclusive television. They washed their hands of it and passed me along to TCL. Told me it was their problem. OK, spoke with TCL. The first service rep took my information with, I kid you not, a rooster crowing in the background! I swear I'm not making that up. She passed me along to the 65R646 lady and we went through some troubleshooting steps that basically cycled power to the TV and my router, even though I had to cycle power to the TV, just to get it to turn on. She wanted to know how many devices are connected to my router, like that has to do with the TV not powering on. So here we are, after basically cycling power to the TV and my router, having changed nothing waiting for the inevitable freeze up to be able to take the nest step. The receiver still cuts out with the HDMI plugged in, so that still is a failure. The next step will be an "evaluation" by someone from TCL over the phone. I can't wait for that next disappointment. Do yourself a favor, buy something else. Oh, the picture looks nice though.

    Decent TV, But The WiFi Range Is Terrible

    My only complaint about this TV is the range of the WiFi. To stay connected to the 5g band you literally must keep this TV within 10ft and have a clear line of sight to the router (no walls/floors in between). Move it 1ft further away, it drops to the 2.4g band. Probably best to hardwire this TV with an ethernet cable to avoid this.

    Top shelf and a great value. Replacing a top of the line, 7 year old Samsung, the picture reads beautifully. Using EArc to connect a Sonos Arc has really improved the sound. Very happy with the quality/price/performance.

    Easy Fix for Google OS

    There is no doubt that this TV produces impeccable picture quality for a TV in its class. I have had this TV for about a month now and I am impressed every time, I watch a movie or while gaming. I understand people are having issues with Google OS, I would recommend using Fire TV stick or Apple TV, which both of these devices support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Believe me, pairing this TV with a streaming device would fix most of these issues if not all. Having two HDMI 2.1 connections is amazing. I connected the SONOS ARC soundbar with rear SL speakers and I am getting immersive ATMOS quality sound while watching movies. TCL should have done a better job with testing these units early on but recent updates seem to have fix most of the issues for me.

    The amount of mid range features in this model is second to none, making it an excellent value unit. Very satisfied with image definition from blacks to whites and impressed with dynamic response at 120Hz. So far compatible with multiple accessories and been almost frameless in three sides makes it look like a high end model.

    Tcl smart tvs operating systems start slowing down within months of purchase. About 2 months after the 1 year warranty ends they die and the company does nothing. Only buy if you want to pay this price for a 1 year tv. It had good picture quality and decent apps during that year, though

    What can I say the 6 series mini led can not be beat for the price great picture the only issue i have is with the very basic remote but with google or the roku voice remote makes up for this
