Top of the line! What a joke!

Been working with TCL since it was 5 months old. Finally sent a tech out who replaced "Parts" TV, was told if that didn't fix it i would get a new one. Well it was great for hmmm maybe 2 days then back to the same old S@#T! Called TCL for the the i lost count time. Back through the dog and pony show routine to the "Warranty Review Team" WT Hey... I just went through that! Now the last time i called to get a progress report i find out that they don't have a new one to replace this one with.. Ok i'm done.. The 1 year will be up in MAY 2021.. I have a 2,000 dollar dart board! Top of the line and pure JUNK.. Run away from TCL at all speed. sorry I sold my Samsung!

Had to unplug it, it’s hanging on wall, and reset everything and update. I don’t have a good internet provider and I don’t have cable. Absolutely hate the remote! I would have returned it if I had someone to help me.

Not 120 hz refresh rate

This is extremely disappointing. I bought this TV in the summer knowing the new Xbox would have a 120hz because this TV is advertised as 120hz.

TCL Corp failed us!

Then, the CPU board needed to be replaced and it took several weeks to get a final dispo-which was to get me a new unit. Best Buy team worked hard but TCL was not very cooperative. I replaced it with a Samsung and there are no regrets!

Last purchase from Best Buy

I'm a travel nurse and maybe home a few days every other month. I bought this TV in July enjoyed it the week I was home but when I returned in October it had lines. Service department came out and said it was defective and that I had 30 days to return. I called the number to return it and said I'd be gone til February they said no problems. Well now I'm back and the service department has become incompetent in the past few months and just keep playing ping pong with my call apparently people's time mean nothing and no one can do anything but transfer

Not worth the half off price

When turned off the screen looked warped and not what you would expect. When turned on the picture was ok for some HD services but not all and anything else looked abysmal. Grainy, fuzzy and pixelated. The colors were not correct as well. I dont want to spend all my time trying to tweak settings. Kids and wife hated the picture. The worst was when i had the speakers disabled and i noticed the loud buzzing sound that would happen when faster moving or brighter objects were on screen. That sealed the return. Bit the bullet and bought an LG OLED and it has been amazing. Best looking TV I've ever owned and so easy to use.

Do You Like Headaches?

In November 2020 the sound stopped working. Had Geek Squad come to repair it. Early December rolls around and the frame rate drops and my apps don't work (Netflix, Disney +, HBO MAX). Geek Squad comes out to repair the issue again. A week later the issue comes back. It is now about Mid January and I continue to pay for a broken TV. Geek Squad should be here in a week. Again. Buy this TV if you hate yourself.

No picture out of the box

I can see that it has power because of the indicator light, can see some back light color, and hear sound when pressing buttons on the remote (such as volume up and down). But can't see any picture on the screen. Called Best Buy for an exchange, and after being placed on hold several times for long periods of time, I'm told that they don't have any in stock for the exchange even though the website shows that I could have a new one delivered next week.

Poor quality on a supposedly premium product

Multiple calls and emails to TCL support and only respond from them is to power drain and reset. This is supposed to be a premium product from TCL but quality control is bad and I don't feel like they are taking the problem seriously. I see many recommendations on the internet for this Series TV but it's been a rather disappointing experience so far. Think twice before you buy this brand.

Terrible Investment

Within the first three months the speakers began to make a terrible bass noise that made it impossible to watch. After unplugging the TV the issue would resolve but the frequency of the issue continued to grow until I called TCL. My online TCL Tech was rude, accusatory, and offered zero troubleshooting support. I saved for years to purchase the TV of my dreams and am heartbroken to be in the situation.

Known issue

Called Best Buy and geek squad the day it was delivered and they knew about the issue. Geek squad had to order a part and we are still waiting on the repair. We asked about a replacement but this is impacting all TVs of this mode. Don’t purchase until the manufacturers can figure out a solution. Geek Squad has been absolutely AMAZING!

tv picture but interface is horribke

Some movies have sound on netflix other dont. Google sound setup with tcl and you will see you get what u pay for. I have been messing with various setups and the only thing that works is that i turn on TV, then do a system restart and i get 50% of Netflix movies with sound. Tcl is a big thumbs down. Spend a little more and get samsung or lg

Sound goes out at a month

The first TV lasted 2 weeks and the replacement TV would have been one month old today. The picture is beautiful but if you can't hear well what a waste of money. Save yourself and buy literally any other TV.

TV gets loud

TCL has sent service technician to replace the motherboard twice. First motherboard had no video or sound. Second card had other issues. Something is definitely wrong with this TV and TCL refuses to replace it or theirs motherboard quality is terrible.
