Bought 4 of these 65"! 3 for my gaming rig and one for the living room. The Roku on each is what sold me.

Was absolutely great for a couple years and then the LED backlight went out. Will cost about as much to repair it as it cost for the whole TV back when we bought it.

TV has decent picture but weak tuner and totally inadequate remote. I bought 2 and wish I had spent a few dollars more and bought name brand TVs. Never again!

I no recomended Best buy to any body. I buy a TV Whedon take out the box the screen is crack return to store but they tell me can't change the TV. I lost $538.00 for a TV that never use

This is an outstanding television. I had to step into the store and personally saw different televisions on display, and I must state that of all the brand name tvs displayed in the store, this Tcl brand beat the rest hands-down. I know the displayed devices were on store setting display but even at that setting, the TCL televisions were above the rest....including the more expensive ones (you know the names). I bought the tv and took it home. The set up was a breeze. The clarity and picture quality have remained truly amazing. Earlier in my pre-purchase research, I was skeptical reading the glowing reviews and felt that all these reviews might be over-rated. But no, the reviews are not fabricated in any way. Just take a personal visit to stores like Best Buy or Walmart or Target and see the difference between this television and the competitors for yourself. Take it home and appreciate the performance. Even the durability of tcl have been affirmed by users of earlier models. So I am soundly convinced that I made a good buy. The Roku interface is great. I am enjoying the television. Picture attached is the sample of the display in my room, and my internet is not in the super fast category, yet such an awesome picture. I know though that to get the real 4k picture, I may upgrade my internet. So go figure, if you already have excellent internet, go for this television and honestly forget about the high ends......I saw the difference with my eyes; and I am seeing it daily in my home.

I got the 65" for $499. It's got a great picture! Using it with Netflix 4k programming package. Built in Roku is snappy and very fast. Not sluggish at all. I used to have a Roku stick on another TV and it would take a little bit for the Roku to recognize the remote each time. Not a problem with this TV and remote. You may see white corners on the screen when watching a scene that is all or partially black, but this goes away after the TV has been used for a day or two. The white corners disappeared and never returned, and I've had the TV for awhile now. Highly recommend this TV for what you get for the price you pay.

Bought this tv about 2 weeks ago. So this review is based on that time period. So far so good. The picture is really good. Better then I expected at this price point. Setup was super easy. Remote lacks features others do but not awful. But I watch tv for the picture not the remote. The Roku interface is very clean and easy to use. I haven’t found one thing so far that I don’t like about this tv. And it was one of the deals of the day today so I called bestbuy customer service and they credited my account back the difference. So overall I am very pleased with my purchase. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Good: PRICE!! I compared it to the Samsung NU7100 unit near it. I was $300 cheaper and appeared to only be slightly behind in terms of viewing. Roku apps. Similar to Amazon fire apps which are plentiful 3rd party apps. Ease of navigation. Main panel when set is turned on is easily navigated. Look of design. While a bit more "bulky" than I like a flat screen, it does fit well against the wall. Bad: The remote. One of the worst remotes I have used. It is functional, but the design and button layout is terrible. You will easily bump a unwanted button and disrupt your viewing. Once you find what you are looking for on the TV, I suggest that you place the remote away from any chance of accidental touch. Sound in general. The $300 you save will be needed to invest in a sound system. No matter what pre-installed equalizer options you choose, the tv will still need you to turn the volume high to get a full range of depth. By doing this, you will of-course be distorting other ranges of sound.

The picture, sound, and ease of use of the tv is excellent. I originally purchased based mainly on price - but I've been very impressed with the unit. The clarity is fantastic - picture is so clear. Bright and vivid colors. The only thing I wish it has was a radio frequency remote rather than infrared. I usually connect with the roku app on my phone so its not much of an issue

I purchased this TV as a replacement to my 10+ year old LCD projection. I am super happy with it. A few things that annoyed me about the Best Buy staff. First, they were knocking this brand. Saying Samsung and Sony are the only way to go and ignored my price range of 500-600. Second, the Best Buy employee who helped me get it in my truck was also down on the quality and said I will most likely return it. Driving home I was second guessing my purchase. I get it hooked up and the picture was ok. I use DirectTV so I was a bit surprised how bad the lettering and fuzziness was. I googled "picture settings" and came across a few different articles and tweaked my settings along with turning native mode ON with DirectTV and all I can say is WOW. Looks fantastic. Bright. Clear. Crisp. Sports look great. XBOX looks awesome. Streaming is super clear. Oh, and the built in Roku....perfect. That is one of the big features on why I chose this over the LG. If you need a HUGE TV this has to be the best for the money. Works perfect for my needs. Super happy.

Not shabby. REMEMBER this, I paid $529.00 for a 65" after taxes. 4K UHD on this TV is straight monster (awesome). Listen to me, it's worth at least $675-$700. The TV is solid ,where as the Sharp 65" was flimsy feeling, sharp makes TCL so not sure why the difference. Roku is the bomb, alllll kinds of free movies and TV shows plus plenty of rentals, simple remote functions and TV functions, BUT, the REMOTE "stinks" the manufacturer should remake it and mail everyone a voucher for an upgraded remote, don't want to ise my phone alllll the time, I mean you have to point the dang thing RIGHT AT ON POINT to change it, believe me it gets dumb. But again the TV settings are beautiful, and adjusts to many many viewing options. If you buy this 65" TV @ $600 or below, you getting a steal. Now look, no no no its not a $1000.00 - $1500.00 TV, again it still packs a really great picture punch. Blue Planet 2 in 4k on Netflix was like absolutely whoa . My XBOXONE has 4K, and my movies and gaming is yes yes yes. Anyway, that's all I have to say about that.✌✌✌

Ordered the doorbuster TV on Friday and they delivered it on Sunday morning. The picture is clear and colors are crisp. The built in Roku has plenty of apps and is easy to use. 3 HDMI ports, 1 Ethernet Port and 1 USB port give a variety of options to connect other devices. The only downside is the sound but it can be easily overcome by using a soundbar. Overall a great purchase!

I was completely opposed to a bigger television and finally gave in. It is amazing. So clear and comes with so many extras! Great value. Easy to hang and easy to clean.

Picture is great after some tweaking. Video n streaming r good. Lacking in live area i e football ext. Has some pixelization streaking ect. But it was 500 not 1500. All in all for 500$ good deal. Id buy tge newer version at 950 i think next yr it going in bedroom for newer one.

Installation was very straight forward. Used the same wall mount that was on the 55” TV it replaced. I like the fact I could use an Ethernet direct hookup to my modem/router for extra speed. I’m sure the wi-fi works well too, although I haven’t used it. Setup was easy, but did take a while. I love the Roku for managing all the free and pay TV App options. I have Spectrum Cable TV service and the App loads and plays very nicely with the Roku.

I am so happy I took a chance on TCL and got this TV. I had never heard of the brand and the incredibly low price made me think their products may be subpar. After doing some research and speaking to the employees at Best Buy, I felt more confident to give it a try. So glad I did, it is a great TV with amazing picture, color, and audio! I’ve been recommending it to all my friends!! For the price this TV cannot be beat and for a normal TV watcher it has everything you need.
