Does not work with Xfinity

No one at Best Buy seemed aware of this, but when I called TCL they confirmed it. Should be highlighted in the description.

My first TCL and it did not disappoint
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first TCL TV after purchasing only Samsung flat screens in the past and I'm pretty impressed by the picture quality. I needed to replace a 55" Samsung after the screen went dead after only four years of use. This TV was the best deal available when considering the price (Black Friday Deal...then went on sale for $30 cheaper that Best Buy gave me a price adjustment for. However, today it's an additional $10 cheaper as a Door Buster but I can't get that credited back). The picture quality is good, and the brightness is excellent (in comparison to the 75" 4K UHD Samsung I purchased last year). The sound is okay...but I paired it with a TCL sound bar that was also on sale. My only complaint thus far is the Fire TV OS...I'm used to Samsung's Tizen OS as well as Roku's OS, both of which are quick and I never had an issue with. Though it's only been a few weeks of having this TV and using the Fire YV OS, every time I've tried to watch a Thursday Night NFL Game through the PrimeTV app on the TV, the game suffers from streaming issues...poor quality/buffering. But then I switch to the game through PrimeTV on the Roku hooked up to the TCL, and there are no issues with playback whatsoever.

Frustrating tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far this tv has been a headache, It does not seem to want to run Hulu. Part of this is my fault because I missed the 14 day return policy because I was trying to do anything but return the tv by a day. It keeps dropping Hulu while watching, there are a bunch of trouble shooting tips I did such as uninstalling the app and reinstalling, factory reset the entire tv, went out and bought a 50ft lan cable to give direct internet connection and best possible speed on the 5hz signal, I have called my internet provider and Hulu they both say everything looks good on there end. I have contacted the manufacturer TCL and I now haft to send a picture of the tv and a video recording showing the problem I’m having with the tv before they will think about exchanging it with another even though I bought the 5 year protection program offered through Best Buy/ geek squad, I still had to go through the manufacture I’m even know the tv I was going to buy in place of this one at Best Buy a 65 inch Roku with Hulu as a preloaded app. But I can’t even do that because I missed the return by a day trying to do and follow the trouble shooting tips and contacting Hulu and my internet provider. The tv itself is pretty awesome I like the features picture is great and I run a ps5 on it no problems, but watch live tv on Hulu and sometimes 10 mins sometimes 1/2 hour sometimes a little longer it kicks it self completely out and back to the Home Screen like it was never playing. Honest opinion this is a good tv as long as you don’t use Hulu as your main tv streaming platform anybody want to buy it contact me.

laggy, not the best customer service for issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good quality picture...has trouble connecting to wifi at times. also the tv is laggy. it takes up to 3 seconds for many commands to work on the tv menus including very simple things that aren't related to connectivity...such as volume up or down. Worked with TCL on multiple resets and can't get it to stop being laggy. TCL just advises returning it. I see now that it is a known problem.

I never bought a TV where it broke in 2 years.

In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Software Bug wont Update
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cant get past the unable to update screen in initial setup. This seems to be a fairly common problem. You can't do anything until the tv updates Spent hours trying to get it to update. I have yet to read of anyone fixing the issue. Jesus it shouldn't be this hard. I'm so frustrated. No choice but to take off the wall, box it up, and bring it back. Save yourself the headache and get something else.

Worked well for 2 weeks

It worked well for 2 weeks and then the sound started to go off and id have to exit rhe apps and go back in. Then i would switch inputs to play my ps5 and id get sound but no picture so id have to go out and back in. About 30 days after purchase l the speakers started crackling so i knew then it must be faulty. The low price for what you get is too good to be true.
