Have had this tv for quite a while now and it still works just as good as day one. Picture quality is great, love how thin this thing is and we have had it on a stand and the leg supports have kept it stable. We have cats so this is always a concern but we have had no issues so far. For the price this tv is great. Boughr vizio for years but this one is so good I’ll probably buy TCL next.

Pros: very bright Great sound for a TV Google tv functions well. Cons: Out of box calibration is yucky (still dialing it in) Seems to have app dependent presets (need to constantly adjust visual settings when launching apps) Frustrating PC compatibility (pushing vrr and 120hz 4k HDR works, but any time a full screen app launches or you alt tab, enormous info blocks cover 1/4 of the screen).

I never write reviews, but this TV deserves a shoutout. The picture quality is insane—colors are vivid, blacks are deep, and it handles fast motion like a champ. Watching sports or action movies feels buttery smooth, and the upscaling makes even older content look fresh. The built-in smart features are super intuitive. I had it connected to Wi-Fi and all my streaming apps installed within 10 minutes. Plus, the remote is sleek and easy to use (no more hunting through menus just to turn on subtitles). Sound quality is solid on its own, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full theater experience. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this thing turned my living room into a mini cinema. Absolutely worth it.

I had been playing on a 8yr old samsung, holy smokes what a difference. I watched and read lots of reviews and they all had pro and cons. Im not sitting there worried about the blackest blacks or that the red is 1/1000th off. 700 bucks for what i consider a luxury tv. If i had bought a 1500+ tv would it really change how i see my games or watching sports, nope. Great bright tv without breaking the bank

I recently decided to expand my home entertainment setup with the TCL - 65" Class Q7 Q-Class QLED 4K HDR Smart TV. Having been a proud owner of a 65” Samsung for some time, my initial expectations were for this TCL model to offer a comparable viewing experience. To my astonishment, the TCL not only met, but surpassed those expectations. Upon setting up, one of the first things I noticed was the vividness and clarity of its display. The colors were rich and vibrant, with a level of depth that felt almost three-dimensional. Shadows and highlights were rendered with remarkable precision, making every frame a visual treat. I was particularly struck by its performance when I connected my Xbox. The gaming experience was unparalleled, with minimal latency and graphics that felt hyper-realistic. The fluidity and responsiveness were beyond what I had imagined, proving it to be a gamer’s delight. Furthermore, to augment this TV, I also acquired the TCL Sound Bar. This addition proved to be the proverbial cherry on top. The audio quality was outstanding, with a perfect balance of highs, mids, and lows. The sound bar brought out every detail, from the subtle whispers in dramatic scenes to the resounding explosions in action-packed sequences. Together, the TV and the sound bar created an immersive environment that rivaled the best commercial theaters. In conclusion, the TCL - 65" Class Q7 Q-Class QLED 4K HDR Smart TV, paired with the TCL Sound Bar, has transformed my living room into a cinematic paradise. If you're looking for a top-tier home entertainment experience without breaking the bank, I cannot recommend this combination enough.

Great picture Quality. Ive been looking for a 120hz television. Well worth the price.

Amazing television for the price. Only have had it a couple of days and it has delivered phenomenal performance. The screen can be a bit reflective however but it definitely is still bright enough and amazing for Netflix and movies. Great for gamers too with the 120hz native screen and for console gamers with 4K@120 gaming. Sound can be a bit better but overall great television for the price and is up there with high end LGs and Samsungs

Pros: --Great picture out of the box --Lighted remote --Good brightness --Premium trim (and the TCL logo is subdued) Cons: --Sound is muddy at all settings for dialog, including Voice--there's that bloated boom between midrange and bass that obscures what is being said. Not sure if this is fixable or a baked hardware issue, but TCL should do an update if they can. Our 6-year old Samsung on Dynamic audio has crystal clear dialog for news and sports, in direct compare to this. --Because of the sound mud, we have to use a bluetooth soundbar. There is no noticable lag on the built-in apps, but a half-second lag on our plugged in Fire Stick Max, rendering it unusable. I suppose we could connect the First Stick directly to the soundbar via bluetooth (which we used to do with the Samsung), but then the TV is not connected. --Inadequate reflection handling. Lights that our Samsung obscured shine like a mirror on this one, even at bright TV settings. Irritating. --The buttons on the remote are jumbled and undifferentiated. Specifically, the volume buttons are the same size as and mixed in with other buttons like Back and "TV Plus" (there seem to be multiple TCL channel buttons for some reason) that you will accidentally press. Good remotes have the volume and channel buttons clearly called out from the others by location, shape and size. All in all if your main need is picture, you will be sending sound out via HDMI to a sound bar, you don't have lights or windows reflecting, and you don't care about the remote, this is a good TV.

Picture quality is great, 120 hrz mode is fantastic for my ps5 and PC . For the price i really couldnt have asked for more than what this TV is.

For the money this tv is great. Color settings out of the box are not good but we followed another site suggestions to fine tune the color and it is much improved. It has 120hz so some older content looks strange but overall the picture is a great improvement over our 6 year old samsung. Works with my JBL soundbar and gives us an at home movie experience. Is it a sony, no, buts its also less than a grand.

Fantastic mid range QLED tv… if you have a powerful streaming device. The built in Google OS apps leave a lot to be desired in terms of picture and color quality. I thought I had a faulty panel, but once I connected my Apple TV 4K, I couldn’t be more happy with the HDR content. Also connecting a PC or console that supports 4K@120Hz is where this TV really excels. Gaming on it is wonderful and the gaming mode only improves it. 1 star off as requiring a powerful streaming device to get the most out of it is a bit inconvenient, and it will take a bit of configuration to get the best image quality out of it.

I would like to start off by saying that this TV is the best I've ever owned. The colors and clarity on this Q7 is beyond belief, and if your a big sports fan like I am you will not regret buying this TV.

Amazing picture quality, quick refresh rate, google ui works great, very bright, remote lights up and easy to use.

Great picture, sharp and clear with excellent color. Also comes with many channels and networks that are free and only need WiFi to view.

Great picture quality, build is solid too. I switch to sports picture mode for sports, and use movie mode for everything else. Aftwr a bit of tweaking us the rtings recommended settings, tv looks great! Processing not as good as Sony, but for the savings compared to X90L, this is a great choice. Gaming also very solod with Xbox Series X. Very happy with this tv!

Picture is fantastic and sound is good. This replaced a Vizio Smart TV. Although I find the quality to be better, I also find the user interface to be problematic. I don't like the Google connectivity and that the TV can eavesdrop on you if you use their Google interface. Seems like a privacy violation to me. Aside from that (we do have the Google functionality turned off) it is a great TV for the picture and seems reliable so far.

So far so good. We don’t have any complaint at this point. Great picture and sound. We had a soundbar that we couldn’t sync with it. But, other then that it has been pretty good.

I have been a Samsung fan for many years but TCL might have gotten my business for the time being. I picked this item up on a great sale and I have no regrets. The performance of this tv compared to the price point is outstanding. Rich colors, plenty of I/O, and a great remote. The only thing that was less than great were the speakers on the TV. We found them to be quite weak and had poor depth of field as it comes to sound balance. I would highly recommend overall, especially with use of soundbar.

Amazing picture quality. Google TV was easy to setup. The colors were a bit saturated on start up but I was able to change the settings easily. Would recommend!
