Good Picture but OS is hit or miss.

Value for money!

Would have given a 5 star rating if the TV had come out the box with the right calibration. It took a while to figure out how to calibrate the TV.

Screen is decent, but googletv is terrible

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We are now on our second tcl q7 as the first one had several software and hardware issues (google os would not respond, screen started showing 3 little white dots) and was covered under warranty. Now, this secone one is also not that great. It is showing signs of weak processor speed and input lag from remote already. I have done several troubleshooting efforts to no avail. It feels like tcl put a lot of effort into the display, but went the cheap route on the processor. I will say that tcl customer service and warranty department were great and I appreciate the simple replacement. But I would not take a gamble on tcl until they fix google OS or make all of their TV’s Roku instead. I have a Hisense U7 as well as a Sony w google os and they both perfrom much better.

Good replacement

Google os is new to me and seems to work fast though it’s more complex than Roku TV.
