    The Picture was average to good, but there is no way a person can have a Sound Bar working & listen to audio going to headphones at the same time with standard configuration offered by TCL. Sony has it - TCL doesn't have it. I returned the TCL 65" TV & TCL Sound Bar & purchased a Sony 55" TV & Sony Sound Bar & woofer.

    Not great. Quite slow.

    Coming from the 4 series, this has not been a huge upgrade. This thing has frozen twice in the two weeks we’ve had it requiring an unplug and restart. Apps are terribly slow. Picture is finicky. Kinda kicking myself for not simply getting another 4 series for half the price.

    The most frustrating TV if you want to watch antenna TV. It will do everything possible to stop you. Once you do get to the antenna channel when you try to change it the TV will go back to the stupid internet channels. You also can do every combination of Bluetooth, Internal, even headphones. But you can't do internal speakers and optical out. Makes the TV almost worthless if you have surround sound.

    Nice for the buck!

    Prior to this tv I had the TCl 5 series. Although, it annihilates that model I think the picture quality could be crisper compared to some mid range Samsung n lg models.

    Faint 7-8 vertical lines across the entire screen

    Initially the picture looked okay. Then while playing The Finals on PS5 I noticed several faint black lines spanning the entire screen vertically. It was the bright backgrounds that exposed the flaws. Then I booted up some youtube videos with white backgrounds, and again, the lines were easy to spot and very distracting. From that point forward, I couldn't look at a solid brighter background and not notice about 7 vertical lines. They vanished into darker content and colors. Even for $700, this is too distracting for me and I'll be returning the set and picking up another brand.

    Warranty scam

    Bought this tv in July. Was hesitant to buy this brand but it was so much cheaper so I went for it. It's been fine, but yesterday it developed vertical lines on one side. Since it's still under warranty, I contacted TCL support. They say that the lines are caused by physical damage to the tv and therefore my warranty is voided. I can guarantee there was no physical damage to the tv. Definitely wish I stayed away from this brand.

    This was a horrible purchase. I’ve had the tv for a little over a year. It started to randomly turn off. I did a factory reset, and now it is struggling to turn on. It should not have broke this quick

    Won't Cast from Windows Computers

    The TV works well but won't cast from any Windows 11 computer. TCL customer support told me it "That issue is not our problem" even though they admitted it has an issue with the operating system being compatible with Windows 11 computers.

    Go With A Better Brand

    I purchased the TCL Q7 TV in September, and by December, it stopped working. The screen completely failed—there’s audio, but no picture at all. The TV hasn't been touched since it was mounted on the wall on the first day I got it. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this TV and even more frustrated with how both Best Buy and TCL are handling the situation. I don’t want this TV “fixed”. I want a total refund. A product this expensive shouldn’t fail within months, and I’ve completely lost faith in this manufacturer. Save your money and buy from a more reliable brand. And choose a manufacturer that has more than a 1-year warranty on their TV's. It's obviously not meant to last.
