Not as good as people make it to be

Do Not Believe These Bad Comments Buy It!

I was on the fence with this model as I’ve read all the bad reviews which is why i came into Best buy with intentions to buy a Hisense 65u7k. Nice Gentleman in the TV department (sorry didn’t ask for your name)told they didn’t have the Tv in the store yet not for a couple days, Then he had mentioned the Tcl I told him i was looking at that model as well i was just hesitant on it , thats when Steve came over TLC Rep, talked about the TV what it offers for like 20-25min went ahead and Bought it. So from here let me Debunk all these Bad reviews on this TV, #1 (Stuttering) this TV is not the same as you typical Tvs that you plug in a HDMI in any port all of sudden poof it’s magically Delicious “No” especially with this set all the HDMI ports are 2.1 and 2 of the ports haver higher Refresh Rates so if you take you Cable connection wich can only handle 60hz and you plug it in port 1: wich is 2.1 144hz to 480 with motion rate or port 2: which is 2.1 120hz 240 with motion rate (YEA YOUR GONNA GET STUTTERING) to the point where the tv will shut it self off to protect the LEDs so if you’re just watching TV use either port3 or port4 both are 2.1 but 60hz with the motion rate in this TV you get 120hz Bad Reviews #2 turning on off automatically honestly I can’t speak for anyone else but me when i get new electronics especially a TV i look at 1 what does this TV look like Right outta the box after that 2 I immediately go to the settings not change anything just scroll through all the picture settings/ TV settings to see how much customization that set has to offer. With that being said if they had looked in there there are 2 settings if the just switched them off one for auto off and on respectively. Ladies and or Gentlemen Buy this TV with confidence its a solid buy out of the box its pre set to low power mode as the Picture mode just set it to Smart HDR and call it Day if you dont want to mess with anything in the settings for Normal people its Good, but if you take your time and tweak this TV in Settings and Expert Settings for the $$ I couldn’t be happier my PS5 simply amazing, Movies especially 4k are Amazing Equalizer 3 on this is like another movie lol. Guys Take your time do your research if you do pull the trigger and pick this up you wont regret it just keep in mind that this is $650 TV even with the your best tweaks in settings if you’re trying to get it to a Sony O-LED you might as well get the O-LED cause there’s no way, but if not and your coming from and 5-10 year old model that did a Kamikaze you will fall in love with this TV. Here’s a tip from me to anyone getting this set just Google TLC65q750g expert calibration instructions for the white levels to whatever picture setting you choose and youtube this model on picture settings and follow it step by step trust me you wont be disappointed

TCL Does It Again!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical when I ordered this TV since it doesn't have mini-LED (as per my understanding) but it doesn't matter since the picture is GORGEOUS! Picture is sharp, brightness is off the charts - I had to reduce it since it was too bright out of the box (and it was only set to 50!). The colors are rich! I'm very impressed and happy with this TV. I have another TCL model, the 825 which does have mini-LED, and the two TVs have similar pictures. I'm a Roku guy so I added a Roku stick instead of using the Google software. Everything works as it should. I strongly recommend the TV.

Once known for their low-end television, they have been stepping up their tech while not hurting the average joe's wallet. Enter The Q-Class... TCL pricing for what they offer in their Q-Class television is something to be amazed of. 4K, QLED, 120Hz, Game Mode, HDR Ultra, AirPlay, Chromecast, Bluetooth and Google TV option now (which I prefer over Roku, nothing wrong with Roku, just prefer Google TV, if you know you know). This is my first TCL coming from a Vizio P65 (2018) that I had zero issues with and was Vizio's introduction to the upper mid-tier TVs. Setting up the TV was very straight forward and made easier if you're a Google user. After the initial setup, downloading apps and signing into things. You'll notice the picture quality immediately. The TV panel was such a different feel compared to my Vizio and I thought the P65 was amazing. TCL has been targeting the gaming community and with the Game Mode turned on, I can see why. The Game Accelerator and Game Mode really makes this TV shine. PS5, XBOX and even PC looks and performs so well on this TV. The VRR really shines from 120-240Hz range. 4K streaming looks amazing as well. TV Speakers are what it is... okay, but this TV plays nicely with my Polk Audio soundbar. I am a FAN of the TV remote. Easy to operate and hold. Great job. $1K for a WELL equipped 65" is just bonkers. I'm on a budget and can't be spending money freely like others. If you're looking for a great option and are limited in funds... check out these new lineups from TCL. I'm now a fan of TCL. Thanks.

I called my boss and got the receipt and went to Best Buy in Georgetown, TX. I had a no hassle exchange but didn’t go for the same tv. I saw the TCL 65 Q7-QLED and I was blown away by the quality of the picture and of the build of the Tv. I Love it, great picture, color and sound! Definitely recommend this Tv!

Perfect...unless u plan to use a soundbar!

There are so many options to customize picture. Its such a change from out 10+ yr old LG. My only complaint....and its a biggie is the HDMI EARC issues when connecting a soundbar. I thought it was a soundbar issue and returned the TCL soundbar and got a VIZIO....NOPE. SAME ISSUE. I was completely bummed. The soundbar will initially work great then out of no where it will lose the HDMI EARC signal for no reason. This is completely unpredictable. Again...This happened with two different soundbars from two different companies. I have trouble shooted it in every way. I found MANY online forums of others having the same issues. I went thru ALL of the recommendations from TCL and NONE worked for longer than a few minutes. As far as i can tell there is no real remedy. U can get it started again if u unplug everything (all cables...power, HDMI...ETC)! And redo all the settings and pray it lasts thru a ballgame or movie. But...so far i havent had luck with that. My current work around is using the optical output. Its not ideal... and in all honesty had i known about these issues i may have gone with a different TV brand. The optical output does work and the sound is waaaay better than the factory speakers on the TV. But that limits the soundbar quality some and causes issues with remote pairing. If you have no plans for a sound bar or using the earc hdmi outlet for sound then u shouldnt have any issues. You will love the TV. But...if u want a true sound bar experience...make sure u do your research. For those that ask ... why not return it? Its too big for my car. I had Best Buy deliver it...so that would be a big pain. I do love the picture and i am working around the sound issue. Hopefully TCL will find a fix soon.
