Too dark, even after adjusting

However after watching a few movies one in particular (streamed Equalizer 3) it confirmed it wasn't for me. Each time I watched anything you couldn't even see the faces of the actors, background details etc.. w We tried adjusting the brightness and other features it still was a no go. Returning to the store and finding something else that may be better.

Best Buy messes up again

Best Buy says that they don't carry. Call TCL. TCL states that Best Buy is wrong because there is no adjustable stand that comes with TV. Must buy from outside source. TCL recommends Best Buy amend specs to state correct information.

Meh just meh.

Now fast forward tv isn't even a year old, turned it on one day and I have a dead pixel or led in the middle of my screen.

Not as good as people make it to be

I mounted the TV in my child room and believe both size and appearance are fantastic for a medium sized bedroom. Placed this nearer to the ground, and even though it is not curved, from sitting on the ground watching it there appears to be a depth to the display. The device is standard mount ready with 4-holes for affixing the mounting pieces. There are also 2 feet included if you prefer to stand the TV up, standard shaped feet coming out a couple inches both front and back. From time out of box to TV on, mounting included, 20-minutes. Smart TVs either have a manufacture based system or a servicer and this is my first TV with Google TV and I am pleased with the interface. I honestly wish some of my manufacture based systems were this instead. You do need a google account to enable the device and once WiFi is set up the TV will automatically update (automatic update feature can be turned off). Once updated and to the homepage, apps are easily accessible. Log-in process is standard for TV apps either having phone enabled login or typing on the TV, the TV is very responsive to remote clicks and the process of typing out an e-mail or password using the arrow keys does seem fast compared to some TVs. Internet hook-up seems to be the limiting factor when it comes to traversing between apps and available media. The 4K HD display is fantastic. The HDR10 notifies you when available and is evident in the images. QLED allows for darker blacks and brighter colors. Overall I found the picture pops, even the Disney movies look fantastic. The sound of this TV is impressive for a SmartTV compared to my previous TVs these past few years. I've become accustomed to requiring a soundbar or sound system to have good sound; however, this TV is Dolby Atmos equipped and the sound does match this advertisement. I had this TV set to 25% and it matches my other 65" at 50-55% sound with more clarity. Both myself and wife are pleased with display and sound overall. The TV has a 120Hz refresh rate which does allow for clear images, I watched a baseball game and noted clear picture with the players. The TV is equipped with AMD FreeSync Pro, which I am used to seeing with monitors. I have not had the opportunity to play games on this TV; but knowing it has this technology I can already predict I will not be disappointed. The TV has 4 HDMI inputs (including eARC if you need that surround sound/sound bar hook-up) allowing for multiple device hookup and one may also use Apple Airplay even with a Google enabled device. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality TCL has provided in this device as is my child as she watches her shows

Do Not Believe These Bad Comments Buy It!

I was on the fence with this model as I’ve read all the bad reviews which is why i came into Best buy with intentions to buy a Hisense 65u7k. Nice Gentleman in the TV department (sorry didn’t ask for your name)told they didn’t have the Tv in the store yet not for a couple days, Then he had mentioned the Tcl I told him i was looking at that model as well i was just hesitant on it , thats when Steve came over TLC Rep, talked about the TV what it offers for like 20-25min went ahead and Bought it. So from here let me Debunk all these Bad reviews on this TV, #1 (Stuttering) this TV is not the same as you typical Tvs that you plug in a HDMI in any port all of sudden poof it’s magically Delicious “No” especially with this set all the HDMI ports are 2.1 and 2 of the ports haver higher Refresh Rates so if you take you Cable connection wich can only handle 60hz and you plug it in port 1: wich is 2.1 144hz to 480 with motion rate or port 2: which is 2.1 120hz 240 with motion rate (YEA YOUR GONNA GET STUTTERING) to the point where the tv will shut it self off to protect the LEDs so if you’re just watching TV use either port3 or port4 both are 2.1 but 60hz with the motion rate in this TV you get 120hz Bad Reviews #2 turning on off automatically honestly I can’t speak for anyone else but me when i get new electronics especially a TV i look at 1 what does this TV look like Right outta the box after that 2 I immediately go to the settings not change anything just scroll through all the picture settings/ TV settings to see how much customization that set has to offer. With that being said if they had looked in there there are 2 settings if the just switched them off one for auto off and on respectively. Ladies and or Gentlemen Buy this TV with confidence its a solid buy out of the box its pre set to low power mode as the Picture mode just set it to Smart HDR and call it Day if you dont want to mess with anything in the settings for Normal people its Good, but if you take your time and tweak this TV in Settings and Expert Settings for the $$ I couldn’t be happier my PS5 simply amazing, Movies especially 4k are Amazing Equalizer 3 on this is like another movie lol. Guys Take your time do your research if you do pull the trigger and pick this up you wont regret it just keep in mind that this is $650 TV even with the your best tweaks in settings if you’re trying to get it to a Sony O-LED you might as well get the O-LED cause there’s no way, but if not and your coming from and 5-10 year old model that did a Kamikaze you will fall in love with this TV. Here’s a tip from me to anyone getting this set just Google TLC65q750g expert calibration instructions for the white levels to whatever picture setting you choose and youtube this model on picture settings and follow it step by step trust me you wont be disappointed
