Great tv

Great picture quality

An actual downgrade from the priginal 6 series...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned a Gen 1 of TCL 6 series TV (which the Q7 is equivalent to) and loved it aside from the initial color RED being off. But after a few firmware updates, it was corrected. Compare to the original TCL 6-series, the Q7 is an inferior TV in almost every way when comes to picture quality. YouTubers are right on about their complains of the Q7 and I have a few more to add… 1. Inaccurate colors 2. Inferior upscaling 3. Black crushing 4. Limited adjustments (Dolby Vision especially) 5. AI mode often boosts brightness too high 6. Lackluster overall picture quality

There's some noticeable issues with inverse ghosting and backlight flicker when using VRR. Doesn't use mini LED. Still using the ATSC 1.0 standard instead of the newer 3.0. The speakers aren't bad, but they could be better, and the build quality could be better too. Also the motion processing could be slightly better as well.

No Hulu
