open box savings not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as open box noted as in excellent condition. didn't come with remote. Wasn't able to test out at home until after refund window closed due to family emergency. Screen turns on but screen is dark blue and so blurry you can't navigate anything. I think it may be stuck in a some weird store display mode but TCL and Best Buy customer support don't seem to understand that and are unhelpful

Best Quality for your money
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 65-inch TCL QLED TV from Best Buy 2 years ago and I’m honestly very impressed with the value you get for the price. The first thing that stood out was the picture quality. The QLED panel produces really vibrant colors and excellent brightness, especially when watching 4K content or HDR movies. Blacks look deeper than I expected and the overall contrast makes movies and shows look very cinematic. I mainly use this TV for streaming and gaming, and it performs great in both areas. Setup was extremely easy thanks to Google TV. Within minutes I had Netflix, YouTube, and other apps ready to go. The interface feels smooth and the voice remote is actually very convenient for searching content. For gaming this TV is fantastic. The high refresh rate and gaming features make gameplay feel smooth and responsive. I’ve been using it with my console and fast-paced games feel fluid with minimal input lag. Motion handling during sports and action scenes is also very good. The design is another plus. The bezels are very thin so the screen feels larger and more immersive, and the TV looks very sleek mounted on the wall. Sound quality is decent for built-in speakers, but pairing it with a soundbar would take the experience to another level. Overall, this is an incredible TV for the price. Between the 4K resolution, QLED color, gaming features, and the smooth Google TV experience, it’s easily one of the best value TVs I’ve purchased. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large, high-quality 65-inch TV without paying premium prices.

Great purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has a lot of great features for the price point. Aside from standard stuff like Netflix and YouTube, I use it for console gaming. The direct backlight makes a huge difference along with vivid colors and refresh rates. I highly recommend it if you have the money, instead of just going for as big of a tv as you can get while sacrificing quality. WORTH IT. Sound quality is also very nice, don’t feel like I need a soundbar or anything like that. A huge plus is that the buttons on the remote light up when the remote senses motion. Also, dedicated youtube and Netflix shortcut buttons (among others) on remote. Tv is also quick in terms of loading apps and all that.

You don't need Mini LED, QLED is phenomenal too!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, let me start by saying I have all TCL TVs in my house, from all the way back to the old 4 series. So I've got some knowledge of how good or bad they could be, but here goes. This is a flat out amazing TV, and you will not be disappointed if you think you HAVE to buy a Mini LED to get great quality. In fact, this is what I would recommend being 95% get to improve their viewing pleasure at home or office. QLED is amazing technology, and often gets overlooked by some that might feel they need to spend more. This screen has fantastic viewing angles, and looks crystal clear no matter how you watch it. Blacks are deep, and colors pop. Movies really stand out in a dark room, so dim the lights. It has very thin bezels, and almost seems borderless at times. The first thing I did was going into settings on the top right, and change the picture profile. I suggest you do the same, because auto HDR was turned off by default when I took a look. Setting up your screen for your eyes is important, so make sure you do that first. Speaking of setting it up, it's fast if you have your smartphone with you ready to go. If you don't have a smartphone, you can't still set it up quickly by skipping through. Connecting to Wi-Fi was swift, and I had no issues at all. I would normally mount it on the wall, but decided to put this one on a bedroom stand. My only gripe with most TVs today, is the sound quality. Speakers are decent and will please nearly everyone that has to use the. BUT, I highly recommend you get a sound bar and sub woofer setup, you thank yourself. This TV like most today, has ARC, and optical. So it's gonna sound amazing when you connect.

Amazing TV, Great HDR, Awesome Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although TCL is a relative new brand compared to the big three, I was impressed with the TV itself. The colors are nice and vibrant, the highlights are bright, and the blacks are deep. The biggest thing for me is the contrast, this is likely due to the backlight having local dimming. This TV has been great so far. Not to mention the price for what you get. Very impressed with it and it has all the ports and high refresh rate for gaming (just make sure you get the right HDMI cable). I am happy with my purchase.

Great Set! Buy it if looking for a quality TV.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my old tv with the 65" Q7 QLED while on sale. I must say what an upgrade from my five-year-old LG QLED that was going bad in that short period. I looked at all the major brands and was considering another LG then saw this one at half the price and decided to give it a try. I have only had it about three weeks but have to say wow! This tv is great at this price point. To me it matches the picture and color of any of the higher priced sets and has all the features of the others. I don't know how they can produce this high quality tv for the money! I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a new tv.

Fantastic Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchaed this unit to replace a living room TV. We are super impressed with this TV for the price point. Beautiful and bright screen with different settings you can adjust to your liking. Pre-calibration out of the box is not great but you can adjust the picture settings once you set up and works well. We also use an external soundbar but we noticed the tv Sound is good. Whar we also loved was the brightness of this TV which was something we were looking for. Get this on sale if you just need a replacement and don't need all the super expensive bells and whistles that come with higher end models. This is a fantastic TV with some great features.

Great tv. No reason to spend more on non-oled.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv is great. Replacing a LG G series Oled that had burn-in again (actual 4th LG oled that I've replaced from burn-in - my sony oled never an issue). - This screen is so bright, i had to turn it down to 50%. Off angle viewing is a little washed compared to the oled, but its to be expected and no one seriously watches movies from those angles anyways. - Blacks are black, just not inky like oled - the black film bars on top and bottom of movies don't bleed light at all. Lack of mini-led doesnt seem to be an issue. motion processing took a day to get used to (once I turned all extra processing off) but so did my Sony oled, so its not an issue. Costs 25% of the Sony oled. - As a tv used in a main room mainly for TV watching, some gaming (fortnite), and some movies, where channels can be on for hours at a time in the background, there is zero chance for burn in or the panel to go bad from just being watched - its a winner. - There is nothing that stands out as a negative that would push me toward another TV that costs $500 more. Overall relative value performance to cost - 5 stars.

Great VALUE, near OLED picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic TV! Have never tried Vizio before, but stuck to name brands like Sony, Samsung. However, this has VALUE. PROS: -Near OLED contrast and blacks, OLED is a 10/10, this is a 8.5/10 -Awesome UI, Google TV is great. -Quality build material, textured back, and glossy, metal edges. -Remote is amazing, microphone is responsive, backlit buttons gorgeous -Offers 144 and 120 Hz modes with VRR+ features! -BRIGHT CONS: -Poor sound quality, use a soundbar -Not an OLED quality but is 1/2 the cost. Close enough. The dimming zones are good but not near as clean as an OLED. OVERALL: 9.5/10 so long as it lasts!

TCL 65" QLED Q7 Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stepping into the visual feast served up by the TCL 65" Q7 QLED TV is akin to opening a window to a world where colors burst with vivacity, and every scene whispers a promise of cinematic brilliance. The moment I powered on this marvel of technology, I knew I was in for an extraordinary journey through pixels and soundscapes that would redefine my home entertainment. The design itself is a testament to elegance — sleek, with an almost ethereal bezel that allows the 4K display to stretch its wings across my living room wall. It's not just a TV; it's a centerpiece, a conversation starter, and a portal to other realms. With the QLED technology at its heart, the display is a riot of colors that are as true to life as nature intended. The blacks are deep, the kind that swallows light and offers a contrast that makes every color pop with an intensity that's almost tactile. The HDR brightens up the darker scenes, ensuring that no detail is left behind, a vital feature for a cinephile who relishes in the nuance of shadow and light.Google TV integration is like having a knowledgeable concierge at your fingertips, always ready to suggest the next binge-worthy show or unearth a classic gem I had missed. The user interface is intuitive, a seamless experience that keeps content king without the clutter of complex menus. But what truly sets the TCL 65" Q7 apart is the aural experience. The sound is crisp, clear, and enveloping, creating an audio atmosphere that matches the visual splendor. It's as if every chord and dialogue has been fine-tuned to resonate with the viewer's soul.In the weeks I've spent with this television, it has transformed my viewing habits. The 4K resolution has spoiled me to a point where anything less feels like a disservice to the art of filmmaking. Gaming on this TV is an epic encounter, with each frame a canvas where the game's graphics strut their glorious stuff. In conclusion, the TCL 65" Class Q7 QLED 4K HDR Smart TV is not just an electronic device; it is the maestro of a symphony played in light and sound, a window to new experiences, and a testament to the marvels of modern technology. For anyone looking to be swept away into a world where every show, movie, and game is presented in its finest form, this TV is not just a smart choice; it's the only choice.

TCL Superior to Samsung and some OLED's
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV looked better than some oled TVs that I saw in the store. It's QLED so it is not as vulnerable to damage from sunlight. It's absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. The colors really pop and graphics are really good. There is no fuzziness or lag. It's crystal clear and so smooth. Anime looks different like a work of art and real movies look more realistic. The sound is decent. It's definitely loud. The quality of the sound is good, but it will not beat or match a sound system. This is a $500 TV that is better than some oleds though. I personally like the remote. It's very simple and also glows for visibility in the dark. The TV has some weight to it around 50Lbs, but it's light enough to pick up. It will just require some help because it's so large at 65 inches so it's awkward to hold. I'm 5'3 and 115lbs, but was still able to do it solo so it's not impossible just uncomfortable and straining. I usually use Roku, but this time I just used the TVs default UI instead and found it to be very easy to navigate and enjoyable. It sends comparable to roku.

Great tv for a great value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is bright, colorful, and sharp thanks to the Mini-LED and QLED combo. HDR movies look fantastic, and casual gaming on PS5 feels super smooth with the 120Hz refresh rate. Google TV was not the easiest for me to set up and I do stream everything on the PS5 so I didn’t play around with it too much. The sound is decent, though I still hooked it up to a soundbar which helps. Sleek design, great performance, and a lot of features for under $1,000. I did a few hour of research and I highly recommend the QM7. I do not have any buyers remorse. Install was a quick 2 person job. I recommend getting a tv mount the moves so you don’t have to worry about getting the tv center on a wall, it’s bigger than I thought it would be.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For just under $600 this tv is amazing. I've gotten so many compliments on how bright and vivid the colors are. Watching movies, sports and playing video games on this tv has given me the best experience and have definitely exceeded my expectations. I couldn't afford a OLED this is the most affordable alternative in my opinion.

So far, so good. Seems to be a nice TV.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good. I read a few reviews that this TV had some problems with them breaking within a few months, but I bought it with Best Buy's warranty plan, so I was less fearful. I've had the TV for two months and so far so good. We are using the TV as a monitor paired to a RTX 5070 Ti graphics card since the TV has 144Hz refresh rate. Honestly, this TV has a ton of features that cost a ton versus LG or Samsung, etc. The picture is clear and crisp and does great for video games. I think we paid $559 for the 65 inch version. This TV is used pretty much extensively for gaming, but it is a Google TV so the interface is nice and easy to use and setup. The included remote is nice and simple to use as well.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is great--very sharp and very smooth. The colors look beautiful too and the TV holds hard contrast really well, a big upgrade from my last TV. Sound is subpar, but I have a soundbar so that doesn't really matter to me. The setup process could be a little easier though, but Google never makes things easy.

Super TV!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has everything I was looking for! 120 Hz, Dolby everything and Dts stuffs! Picture is top notch. Only complaint I would have to the eARC hdmi, it can take a few moments to sync. I would says its because its an old soundbar but its the Vizio 5.1 Dts virtual x with rear speaks and purchased the same day. But once working they both are awesome!

Best TV value ever
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is a steal for the price, image is great, high refresh rate, great non laggy android tv performance and plenty of dimming zones makes this tv perfect for tv and gaming. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because TCL is trying to push their version of smart home and free channels too hard by taking up a ton of buttons on the remote.

Well worth it, enjoy every bit of it!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve had this TV for almost exactly one year now and love it. The picture quality and brightness are worlds better than our last 4K TV which was about 5 years old. I did a bunch of research and the overall consensus was that this was the TV to go with if you aren’t looking to upgrade to OLED. I didn’t want to risk screen burn in (people in my house tend to leave TV’s on when not in use, to my annoyance), and didn’t want the OLED price point. I gave it 5 stars because of how much I enjoy it, the ONLY thing that I think could be improved is the speaker quality, but most people like us should know by now that the only way to get actual good sound is to use external speakers or a soundbar.
