I originally bought the 65" version, but I returned it and bought the 75" version when it went on sale just a few days later. Best Buy was zero hassle on the return. Great picture. Coming from a 2018 55" 6 Series TCL, this is so much brighter and clearer. Upscaling of older movies and TV shows in streaming apps looks good. HDR works much better than I'm used to. Can't say much about the audio because I use a sound bar. I'm giving it 4 stars on that measure based on my experience with the 6 Series. I'm sure the speakers on this are at least as good as the ones from the older model, and they were fine. I was using a Chromecast with Google TV on the old set, so having Google TV built-in on this was a plus.

Tv is great. Replacing a LG G series Oled that had burn-in again (actual 4th LG oled that I've replaced from burn-in - my sony oled never an issue). - This screen is so bright, i had to turn it down to 50%. Off angle viewing is a little washed compared to the oled, but its to be expected and no one seriously watches movies from those angles anyways. - Blacks are black, just not inky like oled - the black film bars on top and bottom of movies don't bleed light at all. Lack of mini-led doesnt seem to be an issue. motion processing took a day to get used to (once I turned all extra processing off) but so did my Sony oled, so its not an issue. Costs 25% of the Sony oled. - As a tv used in a main room mainly for TV watching, some gaming (fortnite), and some movies, where channels can be on for hours at a time in the background, there is zero chance for burn in or the panel to go bad from just being watched - its a winner. - There is nothing that stands out as a negative that would push me toward another TV that costs $500 more. Overall relative value performance to cost - 5 stars.

This TV has a very good picture quality. Audio is good but I improved it with a soundbar, but to be honest its own audio is not so bad. No TV in this world sounds professional next to one with a whole audio system (audio 2.1, 3.1, 5.1 etc). Anyway this one has deep blacks and bright colors, you’re not going to be disappointed. It’s full array screen. I tested its game function using Nintendo switch and PS5, and I’m pretty amazed how well do the games. Movies are great! You can also make it brighter which is really impressive, I set up mine with medium bright.

This TV Made Me Break Up with Movie Theaters

I never write reviews, but this TV deserves a shoutout. The picture quality is insane—colors are vivid, blacks are deep, and it handles fast motion like a champ. Watching sports or action movies feels buttery smooth, and the upscaling makes even older content look fresh. The built-in smart features are super intuitive. I had it connected to Wi-Fi and all my streaming apps installed within 10 minutes. Plus, the remote is sleek and easy to use (no more hunting through menus just to turn on subtitles). Sound quality is solid on its own, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full theater experience. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this thing turned my living room into a mini cinema. Absolutely worth it.

Fantastic TV! Have never tried Vizio before, but stuck to name brands like Sony, Samsung. However, this has VALUE. PROS: -Near OLED contrast and blacks, OLED is a 10/10, this is a 8.5/10 -Awesome UI, Google TV is great. -Quality build material, textured back, and glossy, metal edges. -Remote is amazing, microphone is responsive, backlit buttons gorgeous -Offers 144 and 120 Hz modes with VRR+ features! -BRIGHT CONS: -Poor sound quality, use a soundbar -Not an OLED quality but is 1/2 the cost. Close enough. The dimming zones are good but not near as clean as an OLED. OVERALL: 9.5/10 so long as it lasts!

If you're in the market for a new TV, you've probably already read the Rtings reviews on this. I was skeptical, too, but honestly, this TV looks a touch outside of OLED for a fraction of the cost. It is absolutely beautiful! Don't buy a mini LED, it's not worth it. Arguably, in low light situations, this TV is too bright! I was pleasantly surprised, and you will be, too. The speakers are good, but the balance can make it difficult to hear dialogue with the default setting. I have this same problem with my TCL Series 4, but it's alleviated by changing the audio setting to the voice mode. Who buys a TV for the sound anyway?! If you can get this for $700 like I did, it's unbeatable in today's market. Just do it.

Pros: very bright Great sound for a TV Google tv functions well. Cons: Out of box calibration is yucky (still dialing it in) Seems to have app dependent presets (need to constantly adjust visual settings when launching apps) Frustrating PC compatibility (pushing vrr and 120hz 4k HDR works, but any time a full screen app launches or you alt tab, enormous info blocks cover 1/4 of the screen).

Picture is fantastic and sound is good. This replaced a Vizio Smart TV. Although I find the quality to be better, I also find the user interface to be problematic. I don't like the Google connectivity and that the TV can eavesdrop on you if you use their Google interface. Seems like a privacy violation to me. Aside from that (we do have the Google functionality turned off) it is a great TV for the picture and seems reliable so far.

Upgrade from a 55" 1080p TV, so this was quite an upgrade. I love how I can still see what's on the screen from all reasonable angles. I love how bright it is, and I have no trouble watching it in all the natural light that it gets. At night with no background light, the blacks really stand out. I also love the built in Google TV, being a previous Chromecast person with a Google, but the responsiveness of Google TV is greatly improved. Setup was stoopid easy. Loved that. Got the sound bar working with it right off. Very happy with the purchase.

I believe this is the best bang for your buck. This replaced an old 50" LG that we had. The picture is nice and bright. No wash out and it has a good pic from anywhere in our family room. I've always been an LG guy until I saw this at BB. TCL, you've won me over.

I have been a Samsung fan for many years but TCL might have gotten my business for the time being. I picked this item up on a great sale and I have no regrets. The performance of this tv compared to the price point is outstanding. Rich colors, plenty of I/O, and a great remote. The only thing that was less than great were the speakers on the TV. We found them to be quite weak and had poor depth of field as it comes to sound balance. I would highly recommend overall, especially with use of soundbar.

We needed a new tv. I didn’t want to just buy the cheapest one this time, but I didn’t want to spend crazy amounts of money to replace our tv. This hit so many sweet spots for the price. I was very pleasantly surprised with the picture quality, options, and size at this price. Worth it.

I've always had good experiences with TCL products. I also have this exact same model in 55" format. For the price, the Q7's are 2nd to none. There is NOTHING in this price range that has a comparable picture quality. I honestly don't know much about the sound, because I immediately connected my soundbar, but I'm guessing it's about like any other TV sound, good enough to get by, but not going to wow. Even with that being said, I can't recommend this TV enough.
