  • TCL 65" TV - 3 weeks in and jury still out

    Had the TV about three weeks. Had to call support occasionally the picture darkens then goes back to original brightness. They had me do a reset an the TV has been good only did it one time after the reset. Sound is not the best either seems hard to understand people speaking. Have tried all the different settings for sound but still hard to understand at times. Their support team is great. They worked with me to do the reset and have called me several times after to see if the problem has been corrected. I can't say anything bad about their customer support. Never owned a TCL TV before and for the price I expect it to last a while so having an issue so early is unsettling.

    Bought yesterday, and looks great out of the box. Upgrading from series 6, and plugged in same cables, but no sound from speakers through audio receiver. TV speakers work fine though, but 5.1 seems useless, Any tips appreciated. Thanks!

    Terribly at Dolby vision

    This is really good tv Except when playing any dolby vision content somehow the picture turns into a dull lifeless mess the exact opposite of what dolby vision is supposed to look like. Even after playing around with the settings ot still reamins bad. Also anything below 1080p looks like an awful pixelatedmess. Otherwise for eveything else pic looks great. So ended up returning it. Not worth it if cant do hdr well.
