    defective TV

    The TV would not boot up when turned on. TCL would appear on the screen and then it would go black. The TV did not appear damaged during shipment so it it appears to be a defective part and a problem that should have been discovered BEFORE it was shipped out. This made me doubt the reliability of this brand so I returned it for a full refund. Best Buy was good with that.

    BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THIS TV!

    I bought the qm8 from Best Buy. They stated it comes with the 1 year manufacturer warranty, just like a new tv. I contacted the manufacturer and was told it does NOT come with the warranty because it's an open box sale. I contacted Best Buy for them to honor the warranty with their equivalent in house extended warranty. They refused and wanted me to pay for the extended warranty.
