Issues after a year.

If you use Roku to use spectrum you won't be able to download spectrum or Roku on this tv. We wished we would of known before, but its still very HD

Nice picture - serious Audi sync issues.

Audio is frequently out of sync with video regardless of input source (e.g. Roku, Cable Box, etc...) or Output (sound bar or even internal tv speakers). Makes it unwatchable. And it's random. Sometimes in sync but most often not. Called TCL - they have no solution. Also no option to turn off / disable internal speakers...mute button results in permanent speaker icon with X through it on screen. Returning it.

The info we received from our Best Buy Agent was right on he was well versed in the products he was selling and also did a good job fitting us with the product we were most comfortable with. Disappointed with Functionality and Audio/Video

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had two TCL sets prior to this one, both of those were ROKU and this one is an Android. Frankly I have never had so many issues with a new TV. I have this new one hooked up to my Pioneer Receiver and when I am on the Home screen for Android, I cannot use the Digital Output without getting crackling noise. It is running through the eARC as they call it and the only Audio setting that doesn't cause this issue is PCM. The APPLE TV 4K works fine Dolby Digital and in fact if I play a movie through the PC no problems. Unfortunately the Audio setting is global and so in order to not having severe crackling noises and no actual audio I need to avoid using the Android Home Screen apps to view. Also the Optical Output does not work, although there is light emitted it is not getting to my receiver. When the set is on Smart HDR, there is a lot of shadowing where the contrast changes and scenes can darken inappropriately without anything but the program itself seeming to make the change. The overall color reproduction of this set is questionable, though I can adjust somewhat to my liking it fluctuates greatly from one input to another. I realize this is the low end of the TCL spectrum but these issues seem to indicate TCL has not taken the high road of quality control. Had it been easier than trying to return via UPS I would have sent it back but in spite of the somewhat deceptive Return within 15 days Policy, it was more of a hassle and appeared there would be restocking fees, etc. All in all, I will live with it but I would not recommend the Android TV version of the TCL. Buy at your own risk I would say, if you know this going in and saving money is your primary goal, go for it, otherwise do not.

TCL Pretty good buy

First TCL product if it last time will tell.

Had an older 65" 4k that I wanted to replace because the apps didnt work well on it. This TV performs great and we use a digital antenna to get OTA channels

The bezels are very narrow, allowing for maximum viewing area. The setup with Android TV was also quick and easy.
