    The picture is not as nice as LG

    I owned and LG and switched to this one for 2 weeks before I called best by and told them I don’t want it. The picture on my 10 year old LG was much better than this one new, so I returned and bought another LG.

    Dead at 7 weeks

    So for the 7 weeks it worked it was ok. Got it for $500 on sale and for that price it was average at best. Not great in a bright room as the screen couldn't compete with open blinds. Night time viewing was fine though. Then it started to randomly shut off. This happened about 10 times one day, the next day it wouldn't turn on at all. Returned to Best Buy and picked up an LG which performs worlds better in a bright room, and the picture in general is far superior.

    The TV I ordered had a bent screen at the top causing a crease down the center when viewing. Had to return.

    A disappointing Christmas Gift....

    I bought this as a Christmas gift for my and drove 3.5 hours to deliver it and set it up for her. When I opened the box the only thing in it was the TV itself. No power cord, remote, or the TV stand. And this was a brand new purchase, not a floor model or open box. On a positive note I will say that Best Buy has been awesome. They replaced it with a better TV and even delivered it.

    Terrible service mediocre TV

    Bought the tv and hung it up...looks great. Turned it on and got logged into all my accounts just fine. Tried to find something to watch and found out it is EXTREMELY slow. Just trying to scroll through the menu in Hulu took so long I shut it off. Called Best Buy and they told me that is expected from a cheap tv. Great...would have been nice if they told me that when I purchased it from them. More angry with Best Buy than TCL.

    TLC and BestBuy are the worst

    The worst TV I have so far. I got this TV and it's not working after 10 months, and when I call BestBuy support for warranty they came and fixed it then it's not working again after only 10 Days. BestBuy support was so bad and they keep busing my request for re-fix till I'm out of warranty.

    Loses connection

    I don't know if I got a dud or what, but it loses the wifi connection constantly and we have to completely reset the TV to get it to reconnect. Very irritating. I'm going to have to buy a roku to use instead.

    Sound issues

    Setup was easy, at first seemed like a good deal. Then noticed sound was not in sync with picture. Tried everything to correct, no luck. Looked up online and find this is a known roku issue for years. Tv is going back

    Waste of money

    Software malfunctioned after 1 year of having this tv. TCL won’t do anything to help, basically told us we’re SOL. Better off spending a little more on a brand that will actually last.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.     Constant connection issues. Randomly can’t use apps. Have to restart constantly with is a pain to even figure out how to do. Wish I would have listened to 12 year old son that told me “tcl TVs are junk, buy something better”…..

    Tv worked great for 8 months. Now when you turn it on it will shut off after a few seconds. Someimes 5 or 6 sometimes it will stay on 10 seconds before it shuts off.
