    Picture Quality is average at this price point. The balck is not so black and looks cloudy with some light in in the room. Picture looks good only in the dark room. Setup was easy with android phone. Had a big trouble with mounting. The TV had 4 screws in the VESA mounting holes, which I had to remove. However I could not use the same screws as manual mentioned to use M6x16mm screws. The Wall mount I purchased had all size screws BUT this one (M6x16). And so had to make a trip to hardware store for $2 worth screws. I do not understand why TCL could not provide proper screws in place of dummy screws.

    data always disconnects i spend 30 min everyday trying to reconnect all my other smart tvs which are roku work way better

    Bought this tv Nov 2020 and it’s now Apr 2024 and the tv won’t power on. I have no idea why it’s not working but definitely thought I would get more than 3 1/2 years out of a brand new tv. Nothing went wrong to lead up to this just one day it wouldn’t power on. Money wasted!!!

    TCL is Terrible Crap LCD

    I purchased two of these in July of 2020 and one of them stopped working within three months. Have been dealing with TCL warranty for 6 weeks now and they have been horrible. I will not purchase from them again and recommend Best Buy stop selling them since Best Buy will only refer you to TCL for warranty.

    ANDROID TV IS HORRENDOUS!

    Awful with Android TV. I bought my first TCL Smart TV with Roku 5 years ago and was extremely pleased with it. So much that I recommended it to everyone. Fast forward, I want to upgrade from my 5 year old 55 inch to this new 75 inch TV. I was hesitant with Android TV and should have listed to my gut. Android TV SUCKS! It's so laggy and frustrating to use this interface with all the constant freezing and crashing. Spending an extra $50 for a Firestick to replace the crap software that TCL decided to use for this model. Be wary of purchasing if you intend to use the smart tv capabilities that comes with this TV.

    Poor Manufacturing Quality and Customer Service

    We purchased a 75 inch TCL television in Feb of 2019. In July of 2021 we experienced a hardware failure of the screen, and after working through trouble shooting the issue with TCL technical services, we can confirm the television is a 75 inch paper weight. When asked to resolve this obvious manufacturing quality control failure, we were told the television is past the one year manufacturer’s warranty, and that we should contact a television repair service at our own expense. Do not buy TCL, they are new to this market place and lack quality in manufacturing and quality in customer service. Your money is better spent on a well known manufacturer with a reputation for quality products. Even if you spend more money, you will be better off with a well known television manufacturer, like Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, LG, or VISIO.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.     Common Failure after warranty.

    TCL TVs have a history of failed backlights just beyond warranty. Mine is 17 months old and failed. It costs more to fix than to replace. I recommend researching “TCL Screen Black with sound”.
