I had purchased two of these “TCL - 75" Class 4 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV” at the same time. One lasted 42 days and the other one 87 days, both the exact same issue, black screen no video. I was lucky enough with the first one in that I was able to return it to BestBuy and send it off for repair to eventually have it replaced with a new one, however after the second one stopped working I had to work with TCL support and the lowest bidder for local on site repair. Long story short, I bought a new LG 75” after dealing with that. Please avoid this purchase; I am kicking myself now for not reading the bad reviews.

Recently purchase this TV back in 01/2020 and was great at first. About 4-5 months ago (Jan-Feb 2021) started to notice slight clouding, which has now because so bad that any dim or dark shows or movies virtually unwatchable. The clouding is incredibly distracting. Have called TCL about 10 times in the past 2 weeks, with little to no resolution and was supposed to receive a call for a case-by-case evaluation. Finally got a call today and was told there is nothing they are willing to do. The TV is 17 months old, this shouldn't be happening. I was told I passed the 1 year warranty, however I was not offered an option to buy a TCL extended warranty. $700+ I paid for this is down the drain.

      Hi Paul,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience as this definitely does not sound normal for one of our TVs. Our TVs are carefully designed and engineered to give our customers years of entertainment. Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. We will continue to make improvements to ensure our customers the best experience possible.

      Thank you,

About 50% of my panel is cloudy in dark scenes. TCL claimed this was within industry standards. Too bad as I enjoyed all my TCL products up until this purchase.

Stay away from this TV. Only had it for 1 year and 1 month and the picture went out. Only grey/blue screen. TCL would not stand by there product only a month past the 1 year warranty. Expensive TV for only 1 year of service! Beware of TV quality and customer service!

I have been waiting for a good sale on a 75" TV. The price was almost great! The TCL TV looks great in my livingroom. I'm so proud of my new purchase. There is a feature that's not mentioned until you set up the TV. Insert a 16GB Flash Drive and the TV can pause live Antenna TV. You will have to play with the picture settings to get what suits your style. The volume with Antenna TV is loud, but when you switch to streaming apps it is low. The Roku remote is a older version without voice search, but you can use your cell phone for that. Press the * when in an app and you can adjust the picture, the aspect and the volume. Not available on other Smart TVs. I have it 3 days and love it so far! A Best Buy!

Yeah , Im a Electronics geek like most people here . I read reviews , stopped at stores , before finally setting in on this 75 inch TCL Roku TV . I have NO idea how anyone can say this picture isn't amazing in clarity , unless they have a defective TV , or they aren't setting it up correct . What TCL has over others is it is Roku driven . Fast easy menus . Another selling point is you can pause live TV for up to 90 minutes , and it will allow you to watch your show after your phone call . Now how cool is that and its free .. I dont have cable , and this TV has a Listing for all the local channels. My prior TV did not , so this lets me see whats on , without scrolling through the Channels . The Sound is better than most large TVs, but adding a soundbar or AV reviever is the way most people go . The only thing I will update on this TV is the remote . Its plenty good , but its InfraRed . For about 20 bucks , there is an enhanced Voice Roku remote that will interface with this TV over WIFI . Watching sports on this Monster TV will have you feeling like your part of the action . Unless your into Specs ,I think most people will be happy with this purchase . I know I am amazed with it , and hope it lasts many years .

Great picture, sharp and good contrast & color. Roku will let me get rid of cable when my current contract is up & it works well with an indoor antenna. The reports I read rated this set the best overall because of the price (&quality) and one favorably compared it to $2000+ sets. I hope I don't hurt my arm patting myself on the back over this purchase. I had Geek squad install it ( I am 81) and that also worked out wonderfully. I will have them back when I dump cable and go to streaming (probably U Tube) to finish up my system.

We wanted a big tv for our living room. The price of this 75” was hard to pass. If you are a casual TV/movie watcher, it is great. Colors are great, blacks are great. If you are a purist, you may notice some small artifact when there is fast motion. I noticed twice the first day then never saw it again. I personally love TCL for the Roku integration. It is silly but Roku is so simple to use and they made input switching so easy, that just for input switching, this TV is worth it IMHO. Also having the Roku built in means less cables. Finally, we added a $100 soundbar and we are very happy with the result. Can’t go wrong with this TV!

Extremely happy with this TV! Picture is great. Set up was easy and fast. Read some reviews about bad speakers. I find that not the case. The speakers are as good as any tv speakers, sound is good! They are not meant to give you surround sound. You want that, Buy a system. Very easy menu to navigate. I do agree with the reviews about the remote! "WAY to small and the location of the volume control wasn't thought out well! In fact it's down right crappy. Over all though, It was a great purchase. GOOD JOB TCL.

It was the right price, and it’s big, kinda heavy though, but relatively easy to carry. The only problem I have with this product is the HMI ports, there’s only 3 when I have a lot of gaming consults, it’s just inconvenient to have to switch them back and forth but other than that, super awesome and nice tv!

Got this 75 inch set for a late Black Friday deal in 2019 for $599...it was a great deal and I had somewhat low expectations because I wasn't familiar with TCL. I did do a fair amount of research into TCL to kind of see what they were about and see if they we worth taking a chance on...turns out they are second to only Samsung (at the time) in HD panel tv production...they are a better known Brand in Europe and Asia at the time and also at the time they were an up and comer here in the USA and people were VERY happy with the quality and durability of this brand...and also read that the customer service was easy to deal with as well... Oh 1 more thing was that they were at the time also (I believe) the only maker that make 100% of every part inside of their tv panels....for some reason that means something to me...not sure what or why but it did.... This set 6 months in has been great! The sound is ok but I recommend that you at least get a sound bar or surround system to take advantage of this huge beautiful picture...don't get me wrong the "stock" speakers are loud enough but I just added an Atmos surround sound bar and system and now I can truly say that I am set! Picture is great to me, quality is excellent the remote us easy to use and set up is fairly straightforward and even comes with built-in Roku! Whats not to like?...absolutely ZERO complaints do I have for this monster of a tv!

This replaced a 55" for our main viewing room. Having Roku built in was a primary reason for the purchase, we use it for Disney+ and have been very happy. The picture is great and functionality has been simple for the whole family. You cannot beat the value for the price.

We purchased This TV to serve primarily as a screen to display our churches worship service in overflow room. Picture is clear and TV was easy to install especially for being a larger TV. Price was excellent!!! This tv was recommended by others using it for same purpose. It is living up to recommendation standards.

I dont think the 6 series LG from 2017/2018 was all that and a bag of chips when compared to this TV. This TV is 10 inches bigger and I think the picture appears equal, if not better, than LG. I did catch glare on this TV, so it is best to use in a situation where light such as a window isnt behind you. The interface with Roku is extremely intuitive and convenient. I hand the remote to my wife and she was completely frozen as her brain couldn't compute the fact that no input button is require and you can just flip between roku, cable, PS4, etc... I got a slamming deal, and I think this TV is worth $1200-1400. You're getting $50 value with the interface, and you can download the roku remote app, set your device to bluetooth, and listen on awesome headphones for a full immersive experience. I would buy this TV again. I am certain the 6 series would be well above acceptable for the living room. This being the 4 series, I suppose it could have just a bit of a brighter display. The colors seemed rich enough, though.
