Out of the box the colors are not great so it takes some time to adjust to the way you want. I was on the verge to return and buy the 75" Sony x900h. I still my do that if the Sony drops in price.

Needs volume leveling badly

It could be a great TV if it had volume leveling. As it is, it's unusable for watching movies as the volume varies from inaudibly quiet dialogue to ear bleeding explosions.
