    I've had the TV for a year and a half and the picture went out. Of course it's a 1 year warranty so no coverage. This is way too expensive a TV to die after 18 months. Think twice before buying a TCL.

    Best Buy ? More like better buy elsewhere

    Best Buy damaged the tv. Didn’t say anything to me, they let me take it home, unpackage it and then made me repackage it and bring it back to them, how do they thank me? By exchanging it. Better buy elsewhere…

    As I was setting up this tv, I received a call from 'TCL Support', actually someone posing as support, and informed me that I needed to pay a subscription for the ROKU services. This is a scam!

    Hacked or just speaker troubles.

    Ended up having issues with the speakers and some crazy weird noise started coming out. That's aside from the fact you might be hacked.

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet.     Have had this TV for several years now, and its a pretty good purchase. TCL has the excellent ability to be able to search every app for something merely by asking, the colors are solid, and the Roku interface rarely gives an issue. Also bought this open box from my local store and had no issue at a much discounted price.

    This TV is amazing. It's so bright, the blacks are so black. You simply cannot beat it for this price. I hooked it up to a soundbar but if it's stretching your budget and you need to hold off for a bit and use built in. They work a lot better than most modern TVs

    The setup was great when I initially purchased the tv. Hung it up on the wall, picture looked great. Gave me a good year of good quality, but since then nothing but issues. It developed a large burn in spot right in the center of the screen, apps started to crash sporadically, literally just a month after warranty ended. Couldn’t find a good repair price and since it was outside of warranty time we lived with the burn in spot and app issues. Tv lasted another 6 months. Pop, the tv is dead. Gone. Doesn’t turn on anymore. I know this model may no longer be in stock but if it shows up anywhere, avoid it at all costs. This one is waste of money. TCL makes great TVs 55inch and smaller, (my 2020 55 inch is still awesome and has no issues). Anything bigger can’t be trusted.

    Perfect for TV/Movies, Almost Perfect for Gaming

    Pro #1: The miniLED backlight is pretty well done, given the price class. It's not as good as Samsung, but in my opinion its much better than any LCD or OLED at this price point. There is some blooming, particularly when there's white on black, but unless you're very up close to the screen or you're in a pitch black room, its barely noticeable Pro #2: I actually prefer the Roku OS on this TV to Google TV. It's fast, fluid, responsive, and supports voice commands. It has pretty much every service known to man, and as a bonus it has built in AirPlay 2 support, which is great if you're an Apple person. Pro #3: A lot of TVs this day like to skimp and have 3 HDMIs with one being ARC/eARC, but this TV has 4 HDMI ports, so you can connect all 3 gaming systems and a soundbar/sound system, for example. Con #1: No HDMI 2.1. If you're using an Xbox Series S|X or PS5, this will be a bit of a hit, as it means no 4K/120fps support. This TV does have THX Game Mode, and can run at up to 1440p/120fps, but 4K output is limited to 60fps. Still, most games won't be running at 4K/120fps, and 1080p upscaled/1440p upscaled at 120fps looks perfectly fine at a regular viewing distance.

    Worked well for 3.5 years then the panel failed. It showed some blooming but for the price it was acceptable. It now only has a dim backlight but doesn’t produce any images now. The first few years were great. It wasn’t used in a commercial setting. We watched it maybe 20ish hours a week. I definitely will not buy another TCL product without at least an 5 year extended warranty.
