    I bought this because of the rave reviews, and I am by no means a HDTV aficionado, but the picture quality is not what I thought it was going to be. Next time, I will just go for a smaller QLED.

    With very little use on it this TV went out within 6 months. Upon research I found this is a very common problem with this brand. You either get a real good one or you get the one I got. When you turn the TV on the screen would turn black and not do anything else!

    Great 4K.....1080i not so much

    I Woulda thought cnet's favorite tv would have up converted 1080 signal better than it does but it doesnt. 4 Ks nice if you can get the color figured out but 4K has only a couple channels. In fact the color is very hard to fine tune no matter what input is used. Ive had this tv for 3 months and still have too much contrast and the darks are too dark. Also remote lags you have to wait for it to catch up. Would not recommend.

    Bottom line - 60 HZ panel, you get what you pay for. I kept the set too long to return it but dont be fooled. Spend the extra to get a 120 HZ panel. Better picture. This is the only horrible purchase I made from Best Buy that I didnt return. Blame my wife cause she wouldnt help me. Oh well, you live and learn.

    Mix of Great and Lousy

    Been following these TCL 6 series for awhile, and read about some improvements with the 75 inch. I was optimistic enough to try it out for myself. Swing and a miss, unfortunately. Picture quality is, overall, very good... when it *is* good. Blacks are deep and solid, and color and processing are pretty nice, and I’m picky. BUT, there are instances where this set’s limitations are all too readily apparent. Quality control is still an issue — I don’t have the large vertical bands like a host of users found with the smaller panels, but I do have a fairly obvious DSE. Also, there are spots and dots, corresponding I assume to the dimming zones or LED backlight portion of the panel. Most are faint, but there are a couple I can see in almost all content types (dark, midrange, light, color, etc). And then you can’t unsee it. When these combined issues show up, it can all but ruin the beautiful picture you were just enjoying. I’ve also got a stray diagonal beam of light about 6-8 inches in length coming out of the bottom corner on mine. Gets more distracting the more I’m watching content. Aside from the picture quality issues, which are disappointing enough, I’ve also found that the Roku system just feels and looks clunky compared to others, whether built in (like Samsung Tizen or LG WebOS), or separate streaming boxes like AppleTV. The TV body sits lower too, so I can’t place a soundbar below it without blocking the signal receiver... and spamming buttons trying to get something to happen on a remote as cheap as the included one is in fact even less fun than it sounds. And my goodness, the legs on this thing are HUGE. It hangs off the front and back of my media stand (which isn’t a fault per se of the TV itself, but be sure to look closely for measurements before trying to set it up). It is nice having a TV with such a large presence in the room, but it’s not pulling its weight enough for my tastes, or my wallet. So, in all, this wasn’t worth the bargain deal, weighing the pros against the cons. For some people it might, but I don’t want to roll the dice again and again on something like this 75 inch beast. I want a better guarantee of quality in both construction, design, and picture. It was worth a shot, but I’m going to be headed back to the main three brands (LG, Sony, Samsung) for the foreseeable future. Yes, every set/brand has their issues, but more often than not, if you’re a discerning TV or media enthusiast, you will be getting what you pay for. Back to the store it goes.

    Stop working within 40 days of purchase

    Purchased this item with great excitement, only to be let down by poor quality and abysmal support of TCL. Had the TV for 39 days and it just stop working, no power no nothing. I have to wait 9-10 days for a resolution from the vendor. If I could throw this thing in the trash I would. Save your money a search elsewhere.

    good Tv but quality control is not there

    I bought this tv excited, I got home and when I wanted to install my xbox the video inputs were missplace and nothing could be connected. It was more than obvious that there was an internal problem. I wonder, does anyone inspected?

    I purchased this tv thinking it was a great deal. Watched a movie and everything was blurry when it got into a action scene. Got to looking at the tv and it only has a refresh rate of 60hz. A huge rip off.

    Stopped Working After Three Months

    I had this TV delivered to me in November of 2020, Jan 2021 it died. Best Buy has been no help, and TCL wants me to somehow ship it back to them. Save yourself a headache and get a better brand, I don't think there is much quality control with TCL. As for Best Buy, I love the place and this is the first time I've had such a poor experience with them but honestly, I doubt I'll ever make a major purchase from them again.

    TV is Great but only lasts a year if you are lucky

    At first it was great. Everything you'd want out of a TV. Then when you get close to a year it just turns itself off while you're watching it. and will not turn back on. TCL support is a joke. They give you a few troubleshooting steps and then they conveniently disconnect from the chat somehow due to "difficulties". DO NOT BUY A TCL TV. If you do, you'll need a replacement real soon.

    This TV is a true bargain . It’s not edge lit it’s FALD display 168 zones , just like the displays that cost twice the price. I went to my local BB on a Friday they came out the next day. The made sure my Roku was set up , Netflix and amazon prime. The picture is very nice . It can get very bright if need be. When you download the Roku app to your phone , it will work as a remote also. Plus you can get into advanced picture settings. It’s every bit as good as the Sony 900 and the Samsung q8. You won’t be disappointed.

    This TV is fantastic. I was looking for a replacement on a 3 year old 65" Samsung that developed panel issues. I actually went way overboard on checking reviews and was comparing this TCL 6 series with the Vizio P series 75". After going review bonkers and half crazy and still on the fence, I went into my local Best Buy for advice since they had the TCL in stock and on display. They only had the Vizio 65" on display, but I figured I could at least check both pictures and compare sales staff opinions. I actually spoke to three different sales reps at the store and just quickly asked all three which they would buy if it were them. Without hesitation, all three emphatically answered TCL and explained why. That was enough for me to pull the trigger on the TCL and I am so happy I did. After setup and some quick settings to your own brightness preferences, the picture is simply amazing. I like a very bright picture for a bright and open room, and this TV does not disappoint. The colors are vibrant and liquid looking and the blacks are just as amazing as other reviewers have mentioned. I use the Brighter setting along with either Movie or Vivid with backlight at 100 and brightness at 50. This is my first experience with Roku and I love it as well along with the Roku app for your phone. Another thing I'd like to mention is that I still watch a lot of cable content through my carriers 1080i HD cable box. The upscaling on this TV is phenomenal and makes the 720's and 1080's from my cable company look amazing. The UHD and 4k content displayed on this TV is just perfect clarity and simply an awesome experience and picture. I have also had a chance to pause my picture on total gray screens, and black screens with white credits and words rolling. I can say that I have zero dirty screen areas, dark corners, light bleed, halo's etc that seem to be the hot button on bad reviews these days. This TV and panel are perfect! The only nit picky item I have is the stand legs.....they are huge and spread at a very wide angle. With my stand mount setup and not wall mount, the TV sticks out from the wall a bit too far because the legs are so wide, but not the end of the world. Would love to be able to push it back closer to the wall just a bit more. Again, just being nit picky on that piece for personal preference. I love this TCL and you will too....buy it!

    Great TV till it stopped working after 7 months. Entire screen no longer works, it's just black (backlights probably failed). TCL confirmed and is sending a tech rep to try to repair it. A TV should last years; at this rate it will break again after only 14 months and be completely out of warranty. Great performing TV for the money but if it can't even last a year (barely got past 6 months) you're better off paying more for one that will last
