The worst TV ever

It’s the most expensive TV I’ve bought and by far the worst. Nothing works properly, the YouTube app freezes and turns the TV black. When you switch between HDMI and an app like Netflix the audio doesn’t work anymore. You then need to power off the TV and turn it back on. I can’t state how awful it truly is, nothing works correctly and you either have to be constantly powering on and off the TV or even worse you need to unplug it and a minute or so and then it takes 5 minutes to reboot the entire system. It’s impossible to use this TV as something for guests to watch in a living room. There’s a reason they stopped selling this TV for a while and there’s a reason why they’re always lowering the price. The TV is a $1,200 piece of junk that doesn’t work. This would be a 5 paragraph essay if I had to name all the things wrong with this TV

Great, great TV

Absolutely amazing blacks & a white screen make you squint! The software started out glitchy, but updates have resolved that. I usually use my 4K fire stick so I haven’t experienced problems others talk about. The overall quality is a 10. I’d buy another in a heartbeat.

Great reviews but didn't live up to the hype

It has everything you want....HDR Pro with Dolby Vision. Mini LED, VRR, THX Game Mode, eARC...everything with a killer price. Purchased it, tested it out before mounting it to the wall. There were some weird software bugs where I couldn't select my sounder to the eARC menu. Buggy! After a few days, I also noticed some really bad uniformity...almost like dark ripples in the middle of the screen when viewed on a light or white background. Lived with it for a week and decided its not going away so returned it and got another one. Tested it out and uniformity was better but it got worse. Took it back and waited for another one to be delivered and decided the third one is probably from the same batch so decided to get a full refund and got a Samsung at Costco with the free 5 year warranty. To BestBuy's credit, the service and returns were hassle free.
