Hard to find a better deal

We are absolutley blown away at how bright, sharp, and clear it looks - no matter if watching sports, movies, 4k programming. Coming from a Samsung LED that was the same price and 10" smaller 5 years ago, this tv exceeds expectations!

$1300 dumpster fire - returned 1/15/2022

Honestly shocking how it could have even entered production. Brightness would constantly reset to maximum, TCL assistant Alexa integration would barely function, TV constantly gets sluggish and needs a restart, sound would sometimes not work when switching inputs. The hardware is fine, but the software needs to be fixed. We exchanged the Google TV version for the Roku version which works fine (but setup was a little buggy).

Great TV at a great price

The quality of the panel is awesome, and the speaker quality pretty decent without a soundbar. I've had this TV for a few weeks and the Google TV software keeps getting better and better too

Do not waste your money!

It’s always finding a way to have problems. The dolby vision flashes the screen every 60 seconds on 4K content. The tv freezes during regular content a lot. The tv is consistently slow, 20% of your time is spent watching the tv load. The remote functions lag and enter all input at once to catch up. I can’t wait to take this back. This is the worst tv I’ve ever purchased. I’m not going to wait and cross my fingers for bugs to be resolved, if you rush a release you’re releasing garbage and I do not want your garbage.

Defective TV

We could get through the set up process but every time we would start to watch something, the tv would turn off and reboot by its self after 15 minutes. We tried to factory reset, but this didn’t help. Picture was great for the 15 minutes the tv would work. Had to return the tv and bought the Sony X90J instead. Definitely recommend that tv

Great Budget Huge TV

Only negative would be that it might be TOO big.

TCL R646 not quite there yet!

Disappointed with the picture quality: 1) Picture not clean in any setting. Tried steaming from Hulu, Amazon and Netflix, connected to cable TV and all of the calibrations tricks that could find online but nothing worked. 2) Upscaling is poor, especially from 480P. Picture wasn’t clean as it should be at 1080P. I’ve read the TCL is working on an upgrade but I can’t wait. Google has bugs but it works. Going to return and purchase the Samsung 65” QN90A.

Best for the price

Disappointment…..

I wish I would of returned it within the first week. Now I’m stuck with it ☹️ This is the 4th Tcl tv I have purchased (two 55” this 75” & one 32”) I think it will be the last. I hate to say it but I don’t recommend. You can’t watch the big game with the guys with blur like this!

Horrible TV! Do not buy

Tons of software glitches. Constantly flashing and blinking on certain stream types especially Dolby Vision. Early software locked up regularly and caused a power pull. New software update recently totally destroyed Clear Motion functionality. I wish I could get my money back. Will never purchase a TCL ever again! Totally wastedy money!

Fair/Questionable at Best

Sound felt like it was bouncing off the back of the TV, not projected to the viewer. The "OK Google" response was hit or miss. Combined with all the other operating system issues that were reported for the TV, it wasn't worth the risk. We returned it. We'll look for another 75" TV to invest in that doesn't feel like a long-term risk.
