Flickering

I do love the TV. However, there's been a few times where the screen started flickering like crazy. It happened when using HDR to watch a movie, and another time when I was streaming a TV show from the 90s (low-fi lol). Sometimes the flickering is only at the bottom of the screen - a green line will appear and disappear. But other times it was the entire screen. If I turn the tv off and on again and it starts working like normal. Not sure what the deal is. We use an ethernet cord, not wi-fi. TV has had HEAVY use during the month that we've had it, and this has only happened around 4 times.

Great tv for gaming

Outstanding TV

There was not a single bad pixel on the screen. (Please do exercise extreme caution when unboxing it, removing the foam, and lifting it up. Definitely use two people and avoid applying pressure on the screen.) It was a pleasant surprise to find out that this at Google TV built in, so I was able to eliminate my external Google TV dongle, freeing up on extra HDMI port. One of the HDMI ports supports eARC, which I used to connect to my Samsung soundbar. About the only drawback is that the colors seem extremely saturated coming from the factory. But that can be addressed by color adjustment from the menu.

The picture is great, however these is weird motion bubbling sometimes. It's hard to describe. Paid 800 for it and I can't tell the difference between this one and the Samsung with similar specs

Smooth display; sound could be improved

Haven’t had any problems connecting to bluetooth devices and using it for the Nintendo Switch. No stutter or playback being weird. A downside is that the sound isn’t the greatest.

great purchase

I've had since day 1 a several-years-old lg 5.1.2 soundbar connected to the tv it works well with the tv I can't therefore accurately comment on how the sound quality of the tv alone is

Had a bit of trouble with initial setup via Google home App, but ditched this and went for direct setup via my Google account for smooth sailing.

I like that you can have multiple profiles. Though the suggestions for picking up where you left off I wish were specific to the profiles, they tend to not matter. I suggest turning off the button less voice feature as I would say every show or movie would get 1-2 pauses trying to hear what "we" asked Google. Still trying to figure some settings out, sometimes the brightness is too bright, but does appear to have some self-adapting features, but sometimes not 100% effective.

Exceptional picture that takes a bit to set up.

The google interface is a bit clunky and if you decided to use all of the built in smart features like Dolby Vision IQ the picture is prone to blurring and the soap opera effect. The interface to turn off these options was a bit tough to figure out as you need a Dolby vision media playing for this option to become available. Once I figured it out though and turned off all the motion smoothing and disabled Dolby vision IQ it looks fantastic. It is really cool to see a tv that will play both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content with the quality picture that should cost way more than this set costs.

Great 75” TV, amazing deal over Thanksgiving

The size is perfect for us, set up is pretty easy and the best part is the clear and amazing screen images that you get. You really get a good deal for watching a good game or movie. My only set back could be the sound, it could be better but nothing that an additional home theater cannot enhance. Overall pretty happy with the purchase!

Not worth it

If you watch golf, the ball doesn’t track well. The tv isn’t great with dark scenes - sometimes putting it on movie mode helps. Lately the apps have been really buggy and freezing if I try to fast forward or rewind. Oh! And if the tv goes to sleep or you don’t fully turn it off, when you turn it on again the audio doesn’t work. And you won’t know until you try to watch something on an app and then you have to turn the tv off and on again. I bought this because the reviews seemed fine and the price was good and I regret this purchase. I should have spent a little more for a better brand and tv.
