    We didnt want to break the bank for a basement TV and this 75” TCL Q7 has been perfect. It has actually been better than expected and has been so good, it makes me wonder how much better the competitor TVs that cost $500-$800 could be. I can see how the reflective screen could be a problem in a bright room but it hasnt been an issue in our basement.

  • Spend few more $ and get a real tv

    With all the specs in this tv you would think its a powerhouse. The only flaw is that the wifi wired or wireless wont stay connected. I tried all the steps and cant watch a show or movie without it stopping. Would have to unplug the tv and plug it back in just to get the tv started again. I have 1gb connection in my house andand the router 15 feet away.. and bestbuy wants $125 just to come look at it. No way. Now im stuck with this tv and its only 6 months old. Only going with samsung or lg for now on. No more tcl or any other.

    Looks great when it works. A few months after purchasing it started freezing, forcing me to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. now it is happening more frequently, like twice a month, so i called the TCL for the warranty, after having me troubleshoot the TV for an hour and a half they told me they were going to send me an email with a file and instructions on how to perform a manual update on the TV in the hopes that this will fix the issue.
