    Picture is good, but sound quality and setting adjustments are faulty. sound goes in and out after about 3 months. picture glitches in and out and I am now returning it due to streaks in the picture.

    Stop working after 2 weeks

    Stopped powering on after having it for 2 weeks and doing a software update. Best buy wouldn't let me return it bc they count the day of purchase and not the day I had it delivered. Delivery was delayed twice

    Disappointing lower model TCL

    Got the TV two weeks ago thinking I would give TCL a fair shake. Once I set it up, wanted to test some different sports on it and found it to be lacking the processing to keep up with football players and basketball players. They turned into streaky messes on the screen. Luckily was able to return to Best Buy, but barely could fit it in my car.

    Do not buy this TV if you actually wanna enjoy watching it. This thing lags so much while connected to the internet (even using an Ethernet cable and ~600mbps speed)

    The TV arrived with vertical and horizontal lines. The delivery persons refused to wait for connection and it took us almost a week and tons of hassle to return it.

    The television is a bust. Google tv along with the direct tv app is really bad. It freezes a lot and kicks you out

    If I can 0 stars I will did it. The worst delivery. Two times I tried to buy this tv and both was decline their delivery part. I spent 3 weeks. And I bought it on Amazon cheaper and 1 day delivery

    For the price, you really can't beat it

    TL;DR - TCL makes a solid TV. The newer versions of this model are incrementally better than this one, but it wasn't by enough of an upgrade to justify the newer model's cost. Android TV's interface is terrific - almost at the level of Apple TV - and the smart TV hardware on the inside is solid enough where I know I won't run into software problems before a massive upgrade in picture quality happens in "affordable" flat panel TV sets. Using this for gaming on PC and console is a solid experience, and the only thing lacking is audio quality compared to a couple competitive models. Unboxing and setup: This TV is packaged like any other made within the last few years, with remote, power cord, stand feet, and instructions on top, a solid packing job including a large piece of cardboard to protect the LCD panel. Installing the feet was straight-forward, and you don't have to worry about which foot goes on which side as they're identical. The power cord for this TV in interesting - it looks like it has a connection your computer would have, but without the grounding prong. If anything ever happens to it though, a computer power cord will work as a replacement. For my fellow mounted TV folk, this set comes with a couple of screws that you can use to help find the proper diameter and length for mounting. Setting this TV up is as straight-forward as setting up any other Google-based TV. I do have to give Google props for making it easier for iPhone users to set up Google TVs, as I was able to use the Google Home app to configure 90 percent of everything without touching the remote, including the Wi-Fi networks in my home. The additional TCL TV+ app was slightly annoying to setup and honestly feels a bit unneeded. Usage: I'm going to break this down into different sections - console/PC gaming, streaming/watching TV, and smart TV features. For modern consoles, this runs great. I tested with a Playstation 5 and was able to run 1440p/120Hz. Nintendo Switch looked great, and the upscaler in the TV did a commendable job bumping 1080p video up in quality. As a PC monitor, it's okay. AMD graphics cards that support FreeSync give a better experience than Nvidia and Intel graphics cards do; while all three will run 1080p/240Hz and 1440p/144Hz in HDMI 1, only AMD allowed for variable refresh rates. TCL's Game Master feature allows for the TV to emulate 21:9 Ultrawide and 32:9 super-ultrawide displays. Text is clear at all resolutions though. The features in Game Master are okay, but competing TV sets have more useful features in their gaming setup menus and offer better support for features that XBox Series, PS5, and PC gamers would actually want. For streaming and watching TV, the picture on this set is incredible for the price. The backlight does a commendable job with black and dark backgrounds with bright objects on screen, such as the ending credits for the movie "Sing". Halos, blooming, and flashlighting are at a minimum for the ~200 backlighting zones. 1080p and 720p streaming content is handled very well, but 480i/p content gets a little blurry and 1080i content can show interlacing artifacts (moire patterns). For broadcast TV, 1080i is handled well, as is 720p. 480i/p content can be a little blurry, especially 16:9 content at this resolution. Just be warned that the motion settings can be jarring; I prefer them off. Another great feature is the one-two punch of Airplay and Chromecast. Mirroring and playing content from your phone has never been easier. One of the best Smart TV features built into the TV is the Google Assistant functionality. Placing it in a room with no Google or Alexa but you want hands-free smart capabilities? It does it. Want the privacy of knowing Google only listens when you push a button on your remote? That's also an option. For the biggest drawback, I'm doing with sound output. The build-in speakers of this TV aren't doing anyone any favors for anything outside of watching news and talk shows, and even then, they're not good at vocal clarity either. Adding a subwoofer helps with bass response, but you're better off to add a sound bar. Second biggest drawback is Google's Play Store. While it's a solid way to get apps and updates, it's not as easy to navigate as Apple's App Store or Roku's Channel Store. Consider using your PC or phone to add apps to this TV. All things told, however, I have to commend TCL on the Q750G series. These are still solid TVs 2 years later. Even with a few shortcomings, it's a solid value.

    Fantastic buy

    I'm not an expert at tvs, but this television came recommended on some peer reviews elsewhere as a fantastic bang for buck and yeah, it absolutely is. The darks are dark, the colors are perfectly saturated, brightness is really surprising given that the same can be found in higher end televisions. I am a fan of the Google ecosystem, with the latest Chromecast tooling and what feels like extra Ram compared to the plugins, this is a fantastic TV for the price I paid (~$525)
