TLC is very slow

Works ok, advertised features are janky

While the TV works ok, I'm having a number of issues with it's advertised features. For one, Chromecast streaming doesn't work well at all. My stream is always lagging by a number of seconds and it throws off the whole viewing experience. Second, the whole UI is slow and laggy. It takes minutes just to jump from app to app. The home page is slow to work with as well. Third, sometimes the audio cuts out while watching and I have to unplug and replug from the wall outlet just to get it working again. So annoying. I come from using a 50" LG TV and never had these types of issues. I thought getting a bigger TV would be an upgrade but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a shame.

Wish I had gotten something else.

It’s Google TV operating system that turns it to a terrible experience. I have a LG soundbar with optical only. There is no way to get it to control the soundbar. 6 year old Sony had no problem doing it. I can buy an Apple TV to fix googles mistakes I guess. I would not recommend.

Software is a PROBLEM

The interface is super slow - click a remote button and sometimes it takes 20 seconds to respond on the UI. It randomly opens apps while I'm watching something with no chance of buttons pushed anywhere. Yes I have updated the software, etc. I have gig internet and the tv is connected via ethernet so it's not a slow connection. This has been an issue from the moment I set up the TV and it's highly disappointing.

Infuriating lag/delay.

I’ve had this TV for a couple of months and from the very first day, the lag between me clicking my remote to the screen moving was 2+ seconds. I regularly have to clear my cache, restart the TV and have my remote batteries updated for it to be as smooth as possible. Which is not smooth at all. The quality of the TV is good for casual gaming, but if you’re into watching sports… RUN. The frame rate is terrible. Will definitely be upgrading soon.

The way in which the brightness is adjusted on the screen is very good. It is an advantage that the control has a microphone to issue a command and perform searches.
