    I purchased this TV from Best Buy about 2 years ago as the reviews were great as was the price. do yourself a favor and spend the extra couple hundred bucks on a name brand like LG or Samsung. my TCL has terrible "clouding" and make watching any show or movie with dark settings unbearable. I did contact TCL and response i received even after showing proof of the bad clouding was "sorry its out of warranty". This to me says that discount companies like TCL should not get my business even if they have the better price.

This particular TV was launched less than 1 year ago, so it is difficult to decipher what TV you may have. Our TVs are designed to give our customers years of entertainment and enjoyment. Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. We will continue to make improvements to ensure our customers the best experience possible.

    This tv cost so cheap for a reason. Completely slow to respond and the volume cuts out every 2 days and have to reset the tv. Should of spent the extra money for a sony, but honestly the worst tv ive ever owned
