With certain movies I would have expect a little more of brightness and better quality picture. So far it hasn’t let me select the automatic HDR conversion.

After using this for more than month, I am disappointed with sound effects from the TV. Sound is really bad and some of the dialogues gets missed while watching movie. I have tried with different sound settings and equalizer and still not able to get good output from the TV. Display is decent and display with different watching angle is better. UI is very fast and google interface is very smooth.

There are too many sound glitches. I have to unplug my tv to get back the sound. Not good for a brand new tv purchased 2 weeks ago. I have to take back the tv.

I purchased an expensive 85” TV from Best Buy along with their 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan, thinking it would give me peace of mind. Unfortunately, the plan turned out to be almost useless. When my screen developed a crack, I was told it wasn’t covered. Apparently the plan only covers “defects,” not any kind of real-world damage. Best Buy markets these protection plans as if they’ll protect your investment, but in reality they exclude the very issues most people worry about. To make matters worse, the cost of the plan is significant — yet when you actually need help, you’re on your own. If you’re considering buying a TV from Best Buy, think twice before spending extra on their protection plan. It feels like a money grab that doesn’t actually protect you from the problems that matter most.

We buy a 85'' and we found on two corner some red dots. I am not against TCL brand my old tv was TCL as well and still working good . The problem is before selling these devices they should make a test on each device .

Purchased this 85 inch QM6K tv during the black friday sale. The tv is packaged properly to protect the unit. The unit was really easy to setup. It is very easy to download apps and it is very quick to load apps and shows. The picture for normal tv and movies was pretty good out of the box. I changed the settings that was recommended by website rtings.com. The picture is became great for normal tv and movies. I really look the internal sound even though I took it to a new level with a 5.1 surround sound system but I would have been happy with the speakers on the tv. Now the only negative I have is the picture during sports. I have not found anyway to get rid of the blurry picture during movement when watching sports. If the picture is not in motion, the picture is great but when there is motion it is blurry. Overall, I really like the tv but to be perfect the sports picture needs to be a step better.

I went from a really amazing 800$ 2023 model 78inch TCL - I really Struggled with this product. The wall mount that was holding my 2023 tv broke leaving the 2023 tv struggling for its last breath on the floor.... I studied the QM6K tv really hard - I had a real hard time justifying 1100$ vs the 800$ I spent on my 2023! At the time of purchasing the ( QM6K ) Best Buy had several TV's on sale hovering around 500 to 700$ - One of my biggest conflicts for the year! I ended up buying this QM6K! Its worth 10fold what I paid! Its amazing! Its superior in every way! The sound - The picture - The brightness - The setup - Processing speed - Response to commands! I could not image the amount of money one would need to spend to best this TV! Even my father who has a 3800$ 109inch loves it more then his! Honestly its so good - Even if the 2023 tv didn't get busted - I honestly would have considered upgrading to the QM6K

Everything I have read on the TCL QM6k has met my expectations. The size is great for our apartment which is 20' x10'. The brightness is more than adequate. Almost wish I would of bought the 98". The delivery team did a fantastic job in delivery. I live in a downstair apartment and they had to navigate two tight turns and then down a stairway. They made it look easy. I did buy a Bose - Smart Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and Voice Control to get the sound off the back wall to help direct the sound so I would not annoy my apartment neighbors.

Did the research first. Since I'm not an A/V perfectionist, this checked all of the boxes for me. It was a toss-up between this and the 98" model, but after setting it up, 98" would have been too big for my room space, lol. Brightness: Worked well during daytime (has anti-glare screen), and had to turn it down since wife complained that it was too bright at night, lol. Contrast: Great! Still working on fine-tuning this. Sound: Good! Maxed out the bass and it sounds good. Since I have a dog that freaks out when I used to use an old 5.1 HT system, the TV's speakers are acceptable. Only thing I miss is having the peripheral sounds (i.e., bullets whizzing by, the fighting on the Fields of Pelennor all around me, etc.), but I'll upgrade that when I next get a bonus! Miscellaneous: Get a cabinet that is at least 74" inches. Found a table-mount set of iron legs on AXXzon that work great and elevate the TV for other rows of viewers (without having to wall mount it). There's also some pretty good floor mount legs (use "table mount TV stand" or "floor mount TV stand"). Conclusion: Great budget TV that punches way over it's price and is a buy for non A/V people (probably most of us out there who have budgets to keep in mind). Get it and thank me later!

I could not be more pleased with this TV. The size and picture are excellent. Radiant colors and sound, dark darks, and 4k are perfect. I am still amazed by this TV for this price and size. It was well protected in the box, so no damage upon receiving. Google based so it is easy to link your account and have multiple users' accounts on one TV. Very smart features including showing all your "continue watching" options on the home page despite their streaming service. This makes returning to a show easy and fast. It connected to my Insignia soundbar easily and interacts with Alexa. TV has an app so you can use your phone as a remote control. Much better than either of my Samsung TVs which were much more expensive.

The tv shows great and I love how you can change the picture settings based on what you’re watching. The sound quality is amazing. We only have our tv sound on 14 and it’s super loud! The money was well spent.

I have had this for a month now and i am very pleased. Replaced 86” LG after the panel went bad after 5 years. This has surpassed my expectations and then some. I would buy this again. The 4k is incredible. Bright whites and inky blacks, just an incredible picture. Just watched a hockey game in 4k and it was like seeing true 4k hdr for the first time. Such bright whites with incredible contrast of the Boston Bruins black sweater, no halo-ing, just incredibly clear like i was there. 10/10

This 85" TCL QM6K was the best TV decision I have made! The crisp clear and colorful picture blows away my LG TV I have in the living room which was way more expensive! And gaming....well lets just say it makes my PS5 a rockstar! Hard to beleive for under $1,000 you get a TV that rivals most TV's twice as much!

This is the best bang-for-your-buck as far as TV's go right now (Dec 2025). Deep blacks with great local-dimming zones. If you can pick this up for ~$1,100 on sale you won't regret it. Other options below this price point don't offer the same level of picture quality, and you need to get into the $2500 range for better quality than this. Sound quality is OK, you'll want an external system. The 85" option offers 120Hz refresh rate.
