    The biggest problem with this TV is the upscaling. Rtings gives the upscaling a poor rating and I agree. It is really bad. Sports does not look good on this tv. YouTube TV, Sling, and Fubo looks really bad on this TV. Dolby Vision does not look good, you’ll have to watch HDR 10 through Roku stick or something. Gaming is good on it, but if you watch anything other than just strictly 4k HDR content, the upscaling is just so bad, I can’t recommend this TV. Our Hisense U8G (3 year old tv) upscales much better. Skip TCL this year, you’ve been warned

    TV is amazing, the only issue is that the people in store sold us the wrong wall mount so geek squad was unable to mount it to the wall.

    I have Hesense Tvs and my only complaint is software. This TV has everything and average person could I ask of a TV and less you are used to very high and TVs this is going to be a fantastic upgrade from what you’re currently watching

    My tv before was one of the budget friendly tvs and was about 6 years old. This tv has way more features and the display is amazon. I got a great deal on a open box and i have had no issues

    Got a great price match from BB. The installers Erick and his coworker whose name slips my mind are extreme professionals. As for the TCL, it’s awesome! Still tinkering with settings but Dolby works beautiful.

    DO NOT BUY THIS TV.... This TV has presented ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS best buy wont exchange and TCL Warranty department is a total offshored scam. My story. We were about 2 months away from finishing our downstairs remodel. Couldnt wait to get our new family room all set up with a brand new BIG TV. I did tons of research between OLEDs and Mini LEDs. Different manufacturers etc. Decided to take a chance on this large 85 inch TCL as I had good experience with their smaller version of this same tv. I ordered the tv and it arrived quickly from best buy. Being in the middle of a remodel / renovation, I wanted to keep this TV protected. So I carefully positioned it in the corner of my garage and kept the packaging on. Fast forward about 2 months and the remodel was over. Time to hook this bad boy up! I wish I never had. This TV was delivered with a dead pixel just right of center screen. The edge lighting is VERY DIM and the screen randomly flashes black when Im playing video games even when set to the lowest refresh rate or in game mode. I have attempted to exchange with Best Buy who told me this is was about 4 weeks out of the exchange policy and refused to take it back even when I offered to purchase a much more expensive OLED from them. I attempted to work with TCL Customer service and let me tell you right now, its the worst experience I have ever had. They asked me for picture upon picture, via MULTIPLE email threads and phone calls. All of which I have completed with them. Was this enough? NO. Followed by multiple requests for VIDEO evidence of the issue. Did they supply a drop box or file transfer option to send the video? No. Simply asked me to send them a video of the ENTIRE TV showing the single dead pixel... You tell me, how is someone supposed to see a dead pixel from 10 ft away on a video shot on an iphone and uploaded to youtube... ? (This was their method for me to share the video). This whole situation is a TOTAL joke. I have a lot of empathy for anyone who has to deal with this terrible budget company.
