    ATSC 1.0 has always supported 1080p high definition HD digital TV. The newer ATSC 3.0 will support up to 4k TV signals. However, currently, ATSC 3.0 is only in test mode at a handful of locations. Many ATSC 3.0 newer broadcasts will still transmit on 1080p and less.
