    Best large scale purchaed ive made. The clarity and quality of the TV has amazed me. Im a firm "buy the named brand" type of person for a sense of security but TCL has really stepped up with this one. I spent months chasing reviews and pulled the trigger on a discount you would be crazy to ignore.

    O my goodness! This TV is awesome! I am so glad we decided to get the QM8. I am addicted to this tv and didn’t know that could be a thing! My only complaint is I wish the E-arc port would have been 4K 120hz but I’m being picky! TCL keep it up! We are getting a smaller version for our bedroom.

    Had the TCL 6 Series 75 inch for 5 years and it is an Amazing TV and Upgraded to the QM8 85 inch. It's Amazing how much better the QM8 is regarding brightness, contrast and clarity. Totally Satisfied with my purchase and the extra 10 inches of screen doesn't hurt either!

    Great TV at a great price. The sizes and quality of the TV are amazing. The Stand leaves a lot to be desired but functions well. This is not an OLED, but for the money, it gets 85% there without the worry of burn in.

    This is a really good value of a TV. For the price you cannot get a better TV. There are a few caveats: some of the default color settings are quite a ways off. So if someone doesn't know how to adjust things they might just call it a bad tv and return it. Also to be able to use low latency mode, and variable refresh rate you have to use TLCs gamemaster mode that makes the blacks look weird like Kinda bright. But the localized dimming is really well implemented.

    I strongly recommend avoiding this TV. After renting a truck to bring it home, we set it up and it had a bad dimming zone. Worse, Best Buy will only provide an in-store return, which for an 85" TV is completely impractical. Repackaging is impossible and I'd need to rent a truck again. I cannot recommend this TV and I cannot recommend Best Buy, if leaving responsibility for dealing with massive defective merchandise on their customers is their policy.

    Had the hisense 100 inch U8K and returned for the 85 inch Qm8. All I can say is the tcl Qm8 picture has oled like black levels 4k looks outstanding. No blooming and is super bright. Do not buy the 100 inch Hisense U8K its a disaster of a tv . At first I loved the size and the 4k picture but many quality control issues with Hisense. Eventually I will consider the 98 inch Tcl qm8 really impressive how this mini led is so great for 4k movies .. I would say my qm8 at times looks better then my Sony A9g master series oled its that good on 4k.
