I was scared to buy this brand but honestly for what it is and the price… it’s solid. The picture quality is good if you’re not a huge movie buff. There are some dark areas on the edge of frame that most people won’t even see. The color is good not great but good. The Google voice function is fun and helpful. My son loves asking Google to find things to watch on YouTube so he doesn’t have to type it in the search screen. The tv comes with plenty of apps. If you’re a gamer I would pass on it because it only plays at 60hz and not 120hz. The Nintendo switch plays fine. Not the best tv for watching sports because of the slower refresh rate but again… for the price, I’m happy with it. Especially as a secondary tv.

I bought this set to replace an eleven year old 80 inch Sharp, that has begun to act up. I own several TCL TVs, including 5, 6, and 8 series. I also own a couple that go back to before they began using numbers as their model ID. Including the P series, and a couple of S series. I was not expecting much when I made the purchase and just figured overall it would be an improvement over an eleven year old set. What I was not expecting was that not only was it much better than the Sharp. It blew the few year old S series out of the water. It is also far superior to a 2 year old 5 series, and 3 year old 6 series. In fact I think it's almost on par with the 2022 6 series, as well as the 8 series from a couple of years back. I am very impressed with the back levels, and even though it's not a quantum dot tv the colors jump off the screen. This TV will be in my garage (man cave) and use for mostly sports viewing. So far, I see it handles fast motion quite well. No more seeing two baseball flying across the screen. This TV may be the bargain of 2023, at the price point just under $1000.

Great price, Large TV, I researched several models and brands for entertainment room before deciding on this one. It has a great picture easy to use and is a perfect fit for Klipsch Atmos and Pioneer receiver.

Hello my name is Kimberly and I just wanna say I love TCL tv it’s so easy to set up and to use it. I got a 93 inch tv and I have it set on my living room it looks so great there and the wall paper when I leave the tv on it adds such a great view to the whole wall it just looks so nice and classy love it if it ever were to get damage I would buy it again. The sound quality it’s great and it’s so bright and movies are great to watch Netflix on just love the whole experience.

For the money, this has been a great TV. It has easy to use functions, a very good picture with strong audio. Great V for the money and not sure spending more would on a "higher " quality would be worth the difference.

The TCL 85" has a great quality of the picture. It is vey clear. The remote controls feel cheap and the stand legs while hold up the tv seen like they shouldn't be able to. Plan to have the tv mounted soon. Overall good quality for a tv used in media room.

I have several televisions of this brand but unfortunately the latter that it acquires has a strong reflection on the screen I asked customer service if that was normal but so far they have not answered me, the sound is lousy they deteriorated it and the google crocast is lousy nothing like Roku, At least they continue to maintain the quality in the image, I recommend you make an effort and buy the Q6 version is a little more expensive but it works well

I had done a little research on 85 inch tv’s…Just didn’t know when I was gonna pull the trigger… When I saw this 85 inch TCL with all the gamer needs such as Dolby Vision, HDR lighting and Dolby Atmos support built in, I was ready to buy. Then I saw it for $899 and ANY hesitation was gone! As a gamer, The refresh rate being at 60hz doesn’t bother me because from the dawn of time ALL games have ran at the default 60hz..(Refresh rates any higher than that like 120-240hz, That’s what gives that ghosting/bubble effect around characters or vehicles, Because you are double or quadroupling the refresh rate and the game was not hard coded for that.) I had some reservations at first but after a firmware update and dialing in (mainly tweaking or overriding the basic “game” settings and then saving), This TV IS Amazing! Xbox series X and Ps5 titles look great with HDR and the black levels look good or better than my 2018 75 inch Samsung. Also I bought a new entertainment center to go along with the tv as the feet have to be set at the ends BUT after getting the tv, Installing the legs, There is a closer option and that puts them closer to the middle so I could have used my old trunk instead but it’s ok because I needed a proper tv stand anyways. Also spent an hour watching bee removers and “Adventures with purpose” YouTube streams and the quality was great! VERY satisfied with this purchase!

Looove this tv. Its easy to use, has a great picture. It was was light enough for my wife and myself could mount on the tv on the wall.

This TV is amazing! Had no problems ordering online. Very easy to set up on my wall with the help of my loving wife! Then came the big moment the picture/quality of this TV it is amazing.

This tv is great for the money, it pricture is great in displaying deep colors and dark black in areas giving the pictures greta depth in high definition. This T.V. also offers good quilty sound with its built in speakers. Its home screen display offers all the apps you could think of with a user friendly interface making easy to navigate. If you are looking to pay low cost for a BIG screen flat screen, with high quantity, then look no furture because this TCL T.V. is the one!

Great size TV for the price. The picture is nice and clear the sound is good. A lot of different settings for personalization. Going to other apps is snappy.

I have had the TV for a couple of weeks now. The picture out of the box was the brightest I have ever seen. Once everthing was setup and the picture was setup, it was amazing. Best Tv for this price range. If you are looking for an 85" tv this is by far one of the best I have seen. No motion blur in movies. Very Crisp and clean

Been using these TV's for 2 years now and have had no issues. Use them in a meeting room to display computer screens and can easily see text 20' away. Great picture and a good number of inputs makes these tvs perfect for the price.

Picture is very good, sound is pretty decent, but the operating system is terrible. A Better processor would do miracles

The TV really looks good and is huge. The TV is not powerful enough to run the Google TV that came with it. I had to use my old Android TV box. The built in Google TV is just too slow to be useful. The built in speakers down instead of backward like a lot of other TV's. It is not high end sound but it is great for most uses. I don't always want to use my Home Theater sound for the news or TV shows.

Great picture and features. Very easy to set up and use. Remote control is very user friendly.
