I was looking for a mid-tier TV and this was the best of bunch out there. The picture on this TV blows away my PJ even in a completely dark room. I'm blown away by the brightness and the dark levels/contrast.

It hooks up to my ancient sound system through an optical cable and had no issues. Installation was very easy, though a 3 person job. Ted Lasso never looked so good, much better than my 8 inch Ipad.

Samsungs same TV and tech will run you about 10-15K (depending on sales) and youre going to get the same quality, color and clarity with the TCL. No brainer.

Picture is clear and am co lately satisfied with this TV. Sound from the TV is an amazing don’t really need a sound bar if you are not expecting around the head sound experience.

I initially was opting for the 85 inch however i chose this 98. What a great choice. My bedroom is like a movie theatre. We love it..
