Nothing but trouble

The first one kept going in and out with the sound. I bought a new HDMI cord and even tried it on another TV but still didn’t work. The second one I got the sound quit altogether, also tried the new HDMI and TV, and still didn’t work. It sounded great while it worked but I just don’t wanna go through the hassle of exchanging another one!!

Shuts TV off in EARC

Only reason I give 3 stars is due to the fact that the EARC shuts my TV off 1 time everytime I turn it on and its a TLC TV. Really annoying not sure if it is tv or soud bar.

The setup was really easy and the directions were clear. I haven't fully got to test it out yet because I live in an apartment.

Tcl soundbar

Flawed product might make it unusable

The TS8212-NA soundbar has a fatal flaw when connected with eArc-HDMI. When the program starts on the TV there is a delay of about 3 seconds before the audio starts. This is especially irksome if you pause a program. I found a workaround by also connecting the optical cable and selecting the optical output in the TV settings. The TV remote does control the soundbar volume but not on/off.
