  • Misinformed, but sound bar is good

    The sound is great. However, the Best Buy sales person told me that the 2.1.2 channel meant 2 speakers in the sound bar, 1 subwoofer, and 2 remote speakers. But TCL tells me this is not true, you cannot use 2 remote speakers with this sound bar. So, not happy I was misinformed.

    Sound bar integrates with my TCL Roku TV for single remote use, but I can't get the subwoofer to pair, despite following included directions and additional support from TCL's website. I also have an intermittent problem with turning on the TV and no sound emitting from the sound bar despite the sound bar being on and connected. I then have to restart the TV in order to have sound. Quite annoying. You get what you pay for. Would not buy again.

    Would be a nice system for a smaller scal room if you sit any closer then 8 feet from the TV and want a good value system with atmos this is a nice setup, especially if you have a TCL tv. If room is large it just doesn’t have the power to fill the room.

    The Sound Bar is OK. The sound is not crisp but does its job. I plugged using the Optical cable. It has 3 different Choices for sound. Movie (7/10) Music (9/10)Standard (2/10). I only use the sound bar for Movies. The TV does a better Job for regular programming.
