Very Poorly made

I bought this with an idea of matching my TCL television. I have a m series Vizio sound bar with a mini subwoofer. The Vizio sound bar blows this one out of the water three times. It's mind-blowing how terrible the TCL sound bar sounds. Do not buy..

Should be plug and okay but….

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on sale so it was a good deal and would do it again, but it doesn’t seem to be a $230 sound bar. The sub is a rather small paper cone woofer, but for a small room, it is plenty unless you really like to crank it up and feel the bass. It’s a ported box and the sub output is adjustable. The sound bar itself has decent sound, I don’t particularly care for the fabric wrapping it, but the features are fairly standard (hdmi, Bluetooth, optical) and it’s relatively easy to operate. Really compliments the TCL Roku tv and makes for a great seamless package.

I ended up taking back for my money back. It wasnt sold to me as an opened item so i was very disappointed in Best Buy for this. So my 2 star rating has nothing to do with TCL product it was all to do with Best Buy

Noticeable audio delay when using arc. Noticeable delay input when using passthrough.

Very friendly, personable, sweet but knowledgeable about what they were doing, made it look easy. Meh...Going to use my Hi-Fi system; Sounds better!

At first glance, this soundbar sounds great, though I found the Sub was over-kill. Muddy Boom-Boom!! Bam-Boom!! all the time, gets tiresome, very repetitious. However, when I did an A -vs- B of the soundbar against my Hi-Fi, the old, and expensive, Hi-Fi **wins** hands down. (( And that was *before* I hooked up my hard-wired, powered sub-woofer again )) Yes, the Hi-Fi is not as convenient, it needs separate remote, and yes it lacks Atmos, but I only rarely watch films with helicopters flying above & behind me, etc., etc. the sound is vastly superior
