    Plug and play through my TCL RoKu TV HDMI ARC port was a breeze. Sound quality isn't bad. Definitely better quality than the crappy TV speakers. It's a fairly inexpensive solution for better audio.

    Shockingly good. This unit replaced a 3x the price Sony which was fried during a partial power outage. The main channel audio and the sub performance is excellent. It's installed in a noisy environment so routinely is cranked loud, and performs with no distortion or bass bottoming out. And the fact that when paired to a TCL TV it requires just the TV remote is huge. One small negative, though not worth dropping the rating, is that it came with the wrong size wall anchors for the screws supplied.

    it would have got 5 stars, but I cannot control it with the TCL TV remote. That was one of the main reasons I picked a TCL soundbar, for compatibility.

    I'm very happy with the TCL Alto 8. I was having a problem hearing dialog on the TV because of background noise or music and now I have no problem. The sub-woofer gives a great bass sound that you can't get with speakers in the TV.

    Best sound bar, I know there’s better soundbar out there. but this one is the best, and I don’t need soundbar that has a lot of bass, crystal clear bass no complaints about this soundbar.

    I got this for my husband after he put hours of research. Best decision ever! Pairs great with out TCL Roku tv and coordinates well with Alexa. Gone are the days of multiple remotes and I think the HDMI (Arc) revolutionizes the surround sound game. The subwolfer really kicks some bass. The sound putting out from the one bar really makes you feel like you are sitting in a theater.
