Poor audio quality

Very nice but just doesn’t hold up.

Bad Subwoofer

System not that good

Great value, nice sound, integrates with TCL Q6
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great with my TCL 55" Q6 (55Q671G) and has native integration with the settings on the TV so it all works with a single remote. I'm able to go into the settings on the TV and enable night mode, change the style from Standard to Movie to Music, etc. It also supports using the internal speakers + soundbar (which TCL calls "Tutti Choral"), although on the Q6 that mode doesn't sound very good. I haven't figured out if I can adjust the balance of built-in speaker vs soundbar yet, but the default setting makes the TV speakers way too loud in comparison to the soundbar. I'm very happy with the dramatic improvement in sound compared to the TV's built-in speakers. This is a great budget option for someone looking for a simple setup to add some clarity and richness of sound to their TV, especially a TCL TV.

Seriously, from very effective dialog enhancement and night modes to decent sounding fake surround effects, it's a fun toy for the audiophile for a bedroom TV, this thing is a neat little swiss army knife of audio for this budget! One downside, it does announce the source every power up, but isn't too ridiculously loud. I hope this is addressed in a firmware update, but is the only downside at all to this thing.

Best value for the money

I was skeptical at first due to the brand not being the most well known for audio but I was definitely surprised to heae the sound quality at both low and high volumes. If connected to a TCL TV, you plug it all in and the tv prompts you if youd like to set it up and you do the rest with the tv remote. It all sets up extremely fast also. The sound quality definitely compares to a lot more well known expensive brands. I would definitely recommend. It also has bluetooth to use for your phone. You just have to download the TCL home app to use the bluetooth for your phone.

Not bad for the price

I'm using this for my movies, Xbox series x and PS5 Pro. The Dolby atmos sounds great but for anyone make sure you use the HDMI EARC port on your TV or you won't get this if you want uncompressed sound.

Great sound...but

Also new out of box using hdmi for audio connection showed connection but no audio. Tv even displayed sub on screen. After 1 hour on phone, they said it was bad. Have TCL TV bought 2024 also so I really wanted this to work.
