I recently got the TCL S55H Soundbar with wireless subwoofer, and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is clear and crisp, with deep bass that adds a lot of richness to music and movies. The wireless subwoofer is a great touch, providing a solid low-end without the hassle of cables. Setup was easy, and the soundbar connects smoothly with my TV. For the price, it delivers an excellent audio experience, making it a great value for anyone looking to enhance their home theater without breaking the bank.

I have this soundbar set up with a 42inch TCL 5 series in an 80sf room and it fills the room. Understanding it is a 2.1 channel budget soundbar with a 5.5” subwoofer I dont expect wall shaking bass and also expect channels to be shared among high, low and midrange. I do get the cinematic experience that I want for a great price and it isn’t so loud that it bothers my wife. Well it actually gets really loud and so I keep it on night mode. I’m not giving it 5 stars because the dialogue isn’t the clearest sometimes (dependng on the movie) because there’s no dedicated channel. BUT again, set your expectations appropriately. I’d buy this again. Oh and the virtual surround and AI sonic work great in my small room. I also enjoy listening ambient, jazz and lofi music on it.

Replaced my 12 year old TV and was disappointed to find out the new one didn't have the 3.5mm jack and couldn't control the sound bar volume over the optical port. My old sound bar didn't have an hdmi port and probably predated eARC. I found an eARC adapter thing with a 3.5mm jack that allowed the TV remote to control the sound bar volume, but it was pretty cludgy and added a hissing to the audio that was unbearable. Saw this TCL sound bar for $99 during the black Friday sales and picked it up after finding out that my new TCL TV should be able to control it with the remote via eARC without the adapter since this sound bar has HDMI. It works like a charm and even shows the volume level percentage on screen which the adapter wouldn't do. It sounds at least as good as my old sound bar and has some nice settings the old one didn't that help dialog stand out better on movies and such. Definitely recommend if you've got a TCL TV with eARC.

I love my soundbar! It’s so easy to use, I love connecting my phone to Bluetooth and playing music. This is a great price for high quality speakers

Purchased this soundbar for my 55 inch TCL TV with Roku. Connecting to the TV was easy. I like the fact that the subwoofer has a wireless connection. The sound is terrific compared to my previous soundbar. Seems to be of good quality. If you need a good soundbar with a subwoofer this is a good purchase for the price point.

Great sound for the price. We use this on our 55” Samsung that’s primarily used for gaming or streaming. It replaced a Sony soundbar/wireless subwoofer and this one sounds much better. Used the app to calibrate the sound and it was easy and effective. Simple set up—use HDMI arc or HDMI earc if possible—it sounds better and the tv remote can control the soundbar power and volume.

Excellent Soundbar with Subwoofer the price. I just purchased this TCL S55H 2.1 channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos yesterday for my home office. Setup was a breeze, I mounted it on the wall below the TV, as soon as I plugged in the power cord for the soundbar and the subwoofer, they both automatically connected to each other and it was working right away. It's a small home office so I did not need an expensive high powered soundbar. The sound from this unit that cost $120 is truly outstanding for what you get. I really don't believing in buying a soundbar without a subwoofer as I like to hear and feel the bass. I did some tests with Music on Youtube and Apple Music directly from the TV and it sounds great. I also did some tests with Dolby Atmos movies such as Blade Runner 2049 and although it doesn't sound as good as the LG S95TR system that I have in my living room, it still sounds great without having up firing sound bar speakers along with no rear speakers. But I won't really be watching movies in my office when I'm working, this TCL unit will primarily be used for listening to music while I work. And for that it is truly great for me and you can beat the price! The bass sounds incredible and it does get very loud. If you are looking for an inexpensive soundbar and sub woofer for a small room such as a bedroom or home office, I highly recommend this unit.

Great sound and space saving unit. It paired well with my 55” TCL tv. Easy setup and connectivity for tv or Bluetooth music.

I bought this little soundbar as an after thought. I had bought a 55" Q6 for our bedroom It is a very good tv with poor sound.At $119..00 I gave thie little powerhouse a try. It has blown me away! It has set off my glass break twice. Yesterday I hooked it up to Amazon Music. It is clear punchy, an dynamic! Pink Floyd was bouncing off the walls! Big sound; small bucks! 5 easy stars!

Own this soundbar for a couple of weeks and honestly it’s been good. It does have a random buzz noise once in awhile heard it twice not too sure what it could be and I do have it connected through hdmi. The bass is awesome!

The TCL S55H is a great soundbar for the price on sale. Great for a small / spare game or TV room. Obviously its not as good as more expensive audio systems but it is sufficient. Dialogue is clear, music is pretty good, and subwoofer hits pretty deep. It is also quite compact in size easy to fit smaller rooms. It looks reasonably attractive, and all metal/plastic/wood, no fabric materials that easily get dirty / rip. For the budget and modest requirements its pretty hard to find a better bargain.

I got it on sale for $100 and its so worth it. Even at the $130 price its great. Its a very nice looking bar and sub looks real nice also. The sound its amazing for a budget bar. Bass its good enough also specially when playing music for such a small sub. Bluetooth works perfect and Hdmi arc also works perfect. With Hdmi arc the bar will turn on and off when turning tv on and off and the tv remote will turn volume up and down on the bar also. Settings are simple to adjust. Great sound bar overall.

Good sound and defiantly needed it with a 65” TCL TV. Easy to set up, practically set up itself. Price was fair. No problems

For the price, this sound bar and sub are hard to beat. Setup is relatively easy, and the referencing application for dialing in your room is user friendly. First movie I watched was Oppenheimer. A massive difference from stock speakers.
