Teac, good brand, But
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really needs to be updated to a HDMI output, AND HDMI input. I mean really? Just my guess Teac didn't want to spend the money for new R&D. Next one I get will HDMI inputs and outputs, or I won't buy it. Regardless of brand.

The cd recorder did not work.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The CD Recorder did not work from day one. We wasted 13 brand new CDs trying to get it to record. We returned the CD Recorder to Best Buy in the Castleton Shopping center in Indianapolis, IN and our sale was refunded.

Take your chances
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, bought it for recording purposes and it doesn't record! I said, "ok I'll just use it as a player," but the cds skip in this deck. Hoping to return it. Can't imagine what the return process will be. Beware of purchasing this.

Bought it new for 125.00 now trying to sell it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really had hope in this CD recorder but I lost all hope with it. Everything about it is strange... And I never dealt with a piece of stereo equiptment that was strange.. First it does read all CD blanks but there's a secret. Mostly each one says it can't but if you hit below the analog button where it says coax and all that like just press it then go back up it changes to the record mode ... Why ? Also if you manually using it usually you use the remote to change tracks . They have it programmed where you hit the red record button to change tracks in record mode and when it does then the motor starts up in between the tracks and it ends up as a pop into between the tracks on playback I already hate this thing.. So already I'm praying I will find a Phillips 760 out there which I did just not here yet. It's made like a child's toy cheap materials I can see this dying any day. All I'm thinking about is how do I sell it. So the next bad part is the recording level function with Led indicator.. starts from - 12 db goes to 0 db goes up to + 12 db... I'm like I don't get this thing and then the Led indicator it has a mind of it's own the music is playing but the color bars are hearing something else or it's so slow... And another bad thing about it was the playback there's problems all over the place... Now the only thing that appealed to me but has a bad thing of it's own probably was the finalizing 44 second countdown... That was it.. The rest of it just poorly made junk how they link this with Tascam is a insult... But I'm not paying 400 dollars for a CD recorder from Tascam forget it.
