I purchased this refurbished unit for my mother as a Christmas gift. She was very impressed by the system when taking it out of the box and while we were setting it up. She loved the remote, slot-load cd player, and the way it sounded. The only problem was that the subwoofer just made a small 'thud' sound each time bass was required. I double-checked the connections and everything was connected as it should be. I feel that this was the case because this was a refurbished unit. My mother really liked the stereo, but we had to return it as the store did not have any more in stock. We are still looking for a stereo as nice as this one was.

I live in an apartment with 3 other roommates and I wanted a nice speaker system for my room to fill the air without the harsh sound that smaller/cheaper speakers create. These speakers are GREAT! Best buy I ever made! great sound quality, really REALLY easy to set up, and GREAT price too! Nice deep bass in the woofer, and even though the speakers may seem small they pack a great punch! the only thing that would be nice is if you could adjust the treble and bass past "5". Other than that, perfect all around.

I love the clarity of sound this system delivers. I have purchased other MP3 adaptable players and they were less than great, so when I got this I was thrilled! It is not for the whole house, but for one room, they are awesome. I read other reviews and saw a few problems, but so far, it has been smooth sailing. I was impressed with all the other options available for the price, CD player, AM/FM and Aux for my TV. I listen to it almost every evening after work. The remote has to be pointed pretty straight towards it to make the remote work, but hey, its my bedroom, how far away can I be at any one time? Thank you Best Buy :)

I was looking for a mini system for my bedroom that had a subwoofer and that i could use to run my TV volume thru, but i did not want to spend hundreds of dollars and i wasn't looking for a 5 speaker setup. This great little system easily does the trick. At just $80 it was less than half the price of other systems the no sound compromise.

This speaker system is amazing! From what I can tell from older reviews some people had the system arrive not working. However, this is a factory rebuild, and ours works great! The sound quality is rich and loud, and it is super easy to use. We have recently opened up our kitchen to the living room and were planning on buying a suround sound system to wire into the stereo and tv, however this unit has made that unneccessary. I have never bothered to write a review for products before, but I am so happy with this that I felt I needed to.

This is just what I was looking for, a good quality player for my IPOD music. It does not disappoint.

I bought this for a christmas gift and it only lasted a week befor the power supply took a dump. since there are none in stock anywhere I opted to recieve a refund on my cash. Best buy did a good job on the customer service. But as for the item its self. one word... Garbage.

Doesn't work out of the box. No power. I searched this model and there are multiple instances of out of box failure with the stereo not turning on. It is a shame, it looks really cool and I had high hopes. Best Buy is helpful, they did include a return shipping label. Also, when I called their tech support, they said I could take it to a store. So I'll post what happens after I do that later this week.

The system did not work once it arrived. We had to get store credit and return the item.
